I decided to come to Sherwood Mall while I stayed in Stockton for a few days and do some shopping. I had a gift card to Express which when I went in everything was like over $40 even for a basic shirt. Definitely not worth it. I stopped into VS as I am an avid shopper to the brand but they didn't have any good sales going on that would make it worth it. However, I decided to go to Claire's and see what they had. They had a lot of cute items that I got my nieces as pictured. The staff was friendly and they had sales going on. I was disappointed in this mall and their food court seemed dead. I probably would not be back as I was not happy with the selections for myself but I found cute stuff for my nieces. It was clean and appeared safe. You may like it but I didn't. Not sure if I'll be back in the area. But is in a great location as it reminds me of a low key Strip as there are several chain restaurants and bars everywhere. read more

This shopping mall still looks good from far away outside, but not so good after I walked inside! Sherwood mall was much better years ago. But this time it seems downhills a lot! Many vacant units inside the mall and outside at those individual buildings. The decorations are very outdated and the mall is due to a major remodeling! The food court is next to the entrance. But looks very dark and the tables and chairs are old and uncomfortable! This is one of the biggest shopping mall in the City of Stockton. I hope the management company and the owner will keep it up and bring in more better quality tenants. read more

I don't really consider this as a normal mall it reminds me more of the outdoor open shopping centers. The selections of stores from here are OK we're decent for the city. It is hard though for Stockton to keep businesses alive and open. I tend to visit here for maybe one to three stores but definitely not always my first choice of location to do my shopping at. As with a lot of other "" miles you will find your younger crowds hanging out with their friends. This location has been known for fights breaking out. There are security station set up. read more

I am sadly disappointed. I have moved to Modesto and now frequent Vintage Faire mall a little more than Sherwood. Well I went to Sherwood Mall this weekend with my mom in search of shoes and a few other things... I was somewhat excited to go to Sherwood since I hadn't been there since they remodeled the exterior.... well... Things haven't changed inside..in fact I feel that it looks very EMPTY... there are so many stores that are closed..and lots of "Space available" signs. The place seems very 'gloomy' and 'dark'.. as if some of the lights were turned off.... Overall the mall didn't look very inviting.. There were many 'high schoolers' that looked so 'ghetto' with there parents no where in sight. Bathrooms at the eatery area were dirty in my opinion. They were visibly dirty and you could tell that repairs have been 'dismal'. There are to many 'fake stuff' kiosks..want a fake gucci purse? They have them there... Want a Volvo belt buckle?..they have it there... The reason I only put 2 stars is because I love the "Home Goods' store..but really don't agree that it belongs in a Mall... it belongs near a mall but not in the same building. And the addition of a few key stores/restaurants like Best Buy, Macaroni grill, Elephant Bar... Sherwood Mall needs: Starbucks coffee inside the mall Good bookstore (you have Barnes and Noble at Weberstown, why not Borders at this store?) Forever 21? What happened to it? where did it go??!! If you have transportation and time, it is worth it to drive to Modesto or Tracy to visit a mall. I grew up in Stockton and went to the mall fairly often. I used to love the arcade at this mall where I would play games trying to earn enough tickets for the price store. The mall used to have a good selection and used to feel safe. Of course I am going back to the late 80s and early to mid-90s. Now, there are a lot of vacant spaces. Most of the stores in the mall had little to know appeal to me. The condition was run down overall. I really have no idea how this place is in business as I was here on a Sunday afternoon which I would expect to be peak business hours and there were very few people there. A fair amount of them had a criminal element look. I try not to judge people on their looks but I definitely had an uneasy feeling and kept my kids very close. If I needed something specific and was in the area I would not go out of my way to avoid this mall but I definitely would not go out of my way for the purpose of going here. I was going to get lunch at the food court but there was much less of a selection than the last time I was here and a lot of the food looked like it had been sitting for a while so I decided to pass. read more

Ahh the ghetto mall up in Stockton! I came here with my favorite Stocktonians because their kids were getting new shoes, an no better place to go for such things then the ghetto mall, because you know no matter how ghetto your surroundings are, your kicks gotta look good! Overall, yes this is a dumpy and tiny mall, and if I wasn't looking for shoes, I would never come here, but hey, just like Southland in Hayward, every mall serves its purpose! read more

When you're on Pacific Ave, and you need some time to hang out at Best Buy, Macy's, Starbucks, or need some new digs, Sherwood Mall is a place to stop by and help you out with those ventures. It's tall stone sign is seen up and down Pacific Avenue for all to see, inviting people to park your cars from the Stockton heat, walk around, and spend some money inside the mall. There's currently active construction going on in the food court behind the restrooms so it's a little noisy but overall, not a bad place to stop by and stretch your legs as you shop for trinkets, clothes, accessories, or whatever tickles your fancy. I spent most of my time in Macy's, mostly getting lost but soon as I found out the men's section was on the second level, it was on like donkey kong. Stop on by and give this place a try. read more

Sherwood Mall - Main entrance - Shopping Centers Near Me - Stockton, California

This is part indoor mall, part strip mall. I wasn't sure what to think. If you want Macy's and Best Buy or the food court, you come here. North of Best Buy, it's a strip mall but Best Buy connects to a number of so-so stores, the food court, and Macy's. Is it great? No, but few malls are. The other mall is just as useful, but looks like more of a (small) hangout, due to having everything indoors. You'll probably be better to go to Sacramento or Modesto. read more

This place is convenient for those living nearby who need to go to a Macy's or get an outfit quick. Other than that, there aren't alot of stores inside. I was there very early in the morning, but it would seem like a very crowded place, especially filled with teenagers. I really don't know why there are two malls (this mall and the Weberstown mall) that are located right next to each other. It's annoying having to drive back and forth between them to get to the different stores. Both malls are pretty equal in size and the stores are pretty mediocre, but I'd have to say that I prefer Weberstown over Sherwood. I also don't know why there are several stores that are located in both malls. For example, there is a Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret, and Shiekh Shoes in each mall. Why? I really have no clue...the space could be used for new stores that might attract more customers and make these malls less sucky. This mall has some stores that aren't directly linked to the main part of the mall. Home Goods, Ulta Beauty, and Petco are big stores that are located on the north side of the mall. Next to Petco is Best Buy, which is connected to the rest of the mall. You can walk through Best Buy to get into the mall, but you cannot with the other big stores. To name a few stores that this mall has (besides the ones I just mentioned, here's a list of what I can remember: Sanrio Surprises Macys Pacsun Sunglass Hut Payless Shoes Sweet Factory And a bunch of lame stores that nobody bothers going in because they either sell really cheap products, or aren't popular chains and won't stay in business for long. The food court SUCKS. Don't even bother going. I wish Stockton had better malls, but Sherwood and Weberstown are pretty much the closest thing to a mall we have. If you've got the time, the money, and a car, try driving down to the Modesto Vintage Fair mall (30-40 min. away), the several malls in the Sacramento area (45-90 min. away), or the Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton (1 hr away). read more

Welcome to Stockton...home of two malls. Right next to each other. Not down the street from each other but RIGHT next to each other. Growing up in Stockton I never understood why you would want to have two distinct malls right next to each other. Who took the day off that day at the planning committee? Between Sherwood and Weberstown the clear winner is Sherwood. Both locations have plenty of ample parking, both have big names as their anchor locations. The location is basically the center of Stockton these days...right across from Delta College. Maybe it is just that through the years Sherwood has upgraded and kept up with the times. Maybe it was because Montgomery Ward closed down and they redid the whole front of the mall or maybe it was when they redid the food court but I really prefer Sherwood to Weberstown. Unless you REALLY like Dillards and Sears you might share the same sentiment with me. Oh well...if you do not agree with me and you get stuck at Sherwood Mall someday you can always do something about it and go next door to the other mall. :0) read more

Overall, ok. Not as fun and lively as it used to be. Quite a few businesses left. Still a few vacant spots to rent out. McDonald's left, which I don't get since it was always crowded with students from across the street- the mall is right in front of the college! Supposedly the mall's lease/rent is too high. I absolutely love Bath and Body Works. It's 70% of the reason I come here. So the review is based on this store (5*), The Patio (food court) (4*)- limited choices, and the overall experience. Most stores' sales aren't too attractive and products are still overpriced. Very limited choices. read more

I'm not a mall person to begin with but apparently there arent many stores in Stockton to choose from unless you count the two things Stockton calls malls, which are located side by side??? Yeah, I didnt get it either. In any event this "mall" is nasty! Poor selection, filthy ass dirty, clothes on the floor, unorganized and hella jeether! I think if a store carries the Coach line of 200.00 shoes then you should be able to afford to clean your disgusting carpets. This mall amuses me. So they claim it's remodeled. Yeah, right. They added some stones to the building like it's really going to glitter up the location; I think it made it worse considering now people would have to view that as an expectation for a better mall inside only to find the same low-key stores that have always been there. In no means am I talking about status but the quality of how the mall was built. It's a tiny mall compared to others that I have been to and why in the world would they place one mall next to the other as if it would make a difference? After all, they both have the similar stores and similar atmosphere. I think it's the younger crowd that creeps me out the most considering that Stockton isn't exactly the most peaceful place on earth, some of them get rowdy in the mall which explains why I see security everywhere if not police waiting outside. It's been at least a few years since I ventured into this mall, & my first thought was "Why did I come here again?!" The answer to that question would be to help a friend shop for shoes. Let me be clear that said friend is a lifelong one for over 20 years & this is the only reason why I stayed in this mall because I, ladies & gents, am a good friend! Don't believe me? Shop here for more than 5 minutes during the summer & then reevaluate your initial thoughts. Only a dear, sweet friend such as myself would stay here for more than AN HOUR to help a friend in need of footwear in such dire conditions! It was 100 degrees outside with no AC, so air circulation was at a minimum thanks to measly fans which circulated stale, stuffy air but did nothing to make it any cooler. All these factors meant that the humid shoe stores smelled like musty, sweaty feet (even moreso than usual!). You know it's bad when you go outside to sweltering heat & you're grateful to at least feel some fresh air! read more

As I was walking to the sushi and grill and I stopped to look at the menu, I seen a BIG COCKROACH on the floor right in front of the restaurant now I don't know if there infested in the restaurant but what I do know is that , that is very unacceptable and I hope that the other restaurants don't have roaches around!! read more

Gosh, i really didn't know what people thought about this mall. I'm probably the first to rate this as a fan, and/or but this is probably going to be like my 6 gillionth time saying this. This place is cool to hang out at :D I'm sorry about how people had bad experiences here, really apologize. but you don't have to forgive. Its Okay. Sherwood Mall sucks now! There's hardly any stores to shop at Sherwood Mall. The food court has nothing and it's dead. The only good stores to shop is at Macy's and Best Buy. Sherwood Mall used to be great back in the 90's and the early '00, but now there's nothing. read more

This is my favorite mall out of the 2. I've been coming to this mall since I was little. I remember when they had Montgomery Ward and then they closed it down which is now Best Buy. They even remodeled the outside of the mall and even the food court area which now has a fireplace and patio a few years ago and looks so much nicer now. This is the mall with the food court with Chinese food, McDonalds, Subway, and etc. They had F21 here before where Torrid is now but they took it out but thank god we have it now but it's just at the other mall. Every time I come here, there's always bops which I'm not surprised. The only shops I go to at this mall are Macys, Best Buy, Sanrio, VS, and Sweet Factory. It would be nice if they combined the 2 malls together. read more

This is the best mall in Stockton, which is kinda hard to say because there are only 2 malls in Stockton!! First of all, unlike Weberstown, there is an actual food court. So, I can get myself an iced coffee from McDonalds without leaving the mall. Secondly, there are a bunch of major stores, like Best Buy. And is also within walking distance to Starbucks, Home Goods, and Macaroni Grill. In conclusion, if you only have two malls, it's pretty easy to pick the best one. For me, the Sherwood is the place to go for one stop shopping. read more

I say this is a very good mall in all, it has nice architecture, and a good assortment of stores, but I find a lot of vacant or abandoned stores just laying there, I do remember some of the good stores such as a GameStop, and a Payless Shoe Source, they went away and most stores just left it's unfortunate to see so many things not there such as the food court, the Mc Donald's is no longer there as well as the Dairy Queen that used to be there, it's been since long gone it's not as good as it used to be, I still do enjoy the Tcby in there for some ice cream and Macy's for most shopping, over all it's fine but not really great as suspected. read more

This mall is scattered and not very friendly. My girlfriend and I drove there to pick up some shoes I had held at Macy's and we both felt like we were in a different part of the world! Will I be back to shop? No! Only to pick up and leave! Wouldn't go at night without security! read more

I had shopped this mall as a teenager and well I took my teen today. I was disappointed. Iy seemed that the high end store were more geared to "lower class" clientele. It seems the clothes were for more trashy - hookerish individuals. Totally disappointed! Not to mention the customer were dressed similar if not worse. What happened to respect yourself? The area was filthy and the shops not much better. Parking lot was worse. I am so ashamed of this mall...that I wouldn't even eat at this location.
