Visited here on a very busy Saturday night. We had to wait some time so we're seated at the bar area before our table was ready, we sat in the side room which was rather cold when he first sat down. Two large parties of about 15 people each arrived and it soon warmed up . My only feedback is the side room is not really suitable for large parties, the decibel level was through the roof and at some points our party of 4 literally had to shout at each other !. The food and service though couldn't be faulted, everything tasted great. We had pastries to start, very yummy flaky pastry filled with cheese or spinach, followed with the mixed kebabs, lamb, chicken and beef were all outstanding . We shared the Greek salad with feta and finished with the amazing chocolate pudding. Well priced and good service , will be back again, hopefully seated in the main room though. read more

Delicious Mediterranean food and just right for a pre-dinner snack! Their cold appetizer combo is just what we needed. Everything came out fresh and delicious. The pita bread was served hot and was bottomless. We would love to come back and have dinner here again soon! They do not currently have their liquor license but will allow you to bring wine in with no corking fee. read more

I thought the food lacked flavor / spice. It was high priced for the amount of food you got- my $10 Greek salad didn't have much toppings. I did appreciate that I could add meat to the salad for only $5. Service was friendly. Restaurant was clean. For me, it just come down to the flavor of the food. Looking for a last minute Saturday dinner plan and Artemis showed availability on Open Table. With 4.9 stars, we were very hopeful for a good meal. Though the restaurant is a bit tucked away off of Cooper Rd, we found the restaurant with parking avail right out front. We were a bit surprised that the place wasn't packed on a Saturday night so we had our choice of tables. We were promptly visited by our server. For a appetizer, we split the fried eggplant in sauce. Lest you think you're getting a hot app, as we did, despite it showing on the cold app part of the menu, it was nonetheless quite tasty. Nice pieces of eggplant, garlic and olive in a tasty red sauce. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side, served with warm thick pita (not the paper thin pita you get at some places.) My wife ordered the lamb chops. It was a good sign that we saw at least 6 other orders come out before hers. When it arrived, the plate contained 4 nice chops, cooked to a perfect medium rare, rice and a small salad. Asked how they were, she said OMG fantastic. This is surely high praise reserved for very few meals from the Mrs. While she normally would take one or two home, not this night. She ate it all. As for my stuffed cabbage, I received 4 healthy rolls in a red sauce. The cabbage rolls were nicely cooked so that the cabbage was perfectly tender. My only issue is that the roll was a bit one note and could have used some sweet tone, maybe raisins or a bit of plum. We loved the meal and will definitely be back. This was an excellent place for Mediterranean food. The hummus was so creamy, the red lentil soup was nicely balanced, and the service excellent! My friend and I had lunch there on a Saturday, so it wasn't busy. The table clothes on tables make it feel dressy, but we were dressed in running gear, which they did not frown upon. Definitely try the appetizer sampler. You won't be disappointed. The wine was about 3 times the price of retail per bottle, so that is why I gave them 4 stars. read more

First time visiting for father's day, with a party of 8. Service was great and friendly even with two little ones (sorry hopefully they didn't bother anyone). The entire party was happy with the meals (may whom haven't tried this style before). As an added surprise on showing up they have a side area which was perfect for us in the space.Plate sizes is just right and a nice balance to also be able to enjoy an appatizer. First time here and we sat outside for dinner. There isn't a ton of outdoor seating but I appreciate that there is some for those of us not comfortable dining inside. We got the spicy vegetables and grape leaves for an app and they were soooooo good. Those veggies are amazing! The falafel dinner was really good as well but was missing something... Food is decent, but never order carry out online. Tonight is the third time I have done it, and this is the third time they hadn't started on the order until after I arrived. Normally, I would say it is because of the holiday, but this 3 for 3......the others weren't holidays. This place is a Hidden gem! Great service even the chef/owner came out to visit us to see how everything was! We ordered various apps including grape leaves and hummus that came with warm pita. We also ordered amongst us various entrées and we started with the salad that had tomatoes onions and a very light dressing which was delicious! I had the lamb chops which were absolutely perfect! One of my co-diners had the curry chicken which was enough for two people and she said it was delicious. Highly recommend this place nice atmosphere and I would definitely come back! read more

The worst part of the experience is the service - our server was rude and condescending from the moment we walked in. We had empty water glasses almost the entire time we were there as he didn't refill our glasses once. When we flagged him down and asked for the bill, he proceeded to go behind the bar and slowly dry off glasses instead of printing out the bill. It took about 15 minutes after we asked for the bill before he gave it to us. And it was not because the place was busy - there was only one other table of people there. He didn't check on us once during the course of the meal, and even when we made direct eye contact to get his attention, he would ignore us. The food is mediocre and overpriced for what it is. There is another Mediterranean place about 10 min down the road with exceptional food and at half the cost. read more

We wanted to eat Mediterranean food with my husband, son and his wife last Sunday. I reviewed several restaurants for their outside seating. Artemis Bistro had a wonderful menu and outside seating. I called to confirm everything and spoke with a very delightful gentleman who seemed so welcoming. We thought we'd take a chance as it checked all our boxes and it Did Not Disappoint at all. The appetizers were delicious. The beef Kababs were tender and tasted delicious. I had a lamb dish sautéed with vegetables and a special sauce. It was great from start to finish. The breezeway area was lovely. Even if it rained or was too sunny we were protected. There were heaters outside too to extend the outside dining. We will be back definitely. As a Turk it is extremely hard to find delicious authentic Turkish food in Cincinnati. Artemis is my favorite so far. We ordered during covid and the food was impeccable, delivered fast and hot. We tried 4 meat dishes (chicken steak chicken kebab beef kebab and lamb shish) they were all amazing juicy tender and flavorful meats cooked just right. This is what middle eastern and Turkish cuisine is all about. It's the quality and taste of meat that does not require much spice to cover it up just some authentic flavors marinaded into it and cooked to perfection on a grill...sides were very good and pita soft and fluffy. read more

I read several local reviews of Artemis and decided to invite friends to join us before heading over to the Bastille Day celebration in Montgomery. We were greeted and seated quickly, and tended to promptly by the wait staff. Our waiter helped us make good selections. He told us they do not yet have a liquor license and advised we could bring adult beverages with us. We started with an order of hummus that was excellent. Creamy and tasty with just the right amount of garlic. I ordered the lamb kebabs, my wife ordered a dinner salad, and our friends ordered a kebab combination platter for two. Everything was prepared perfectly. You won't leave Artemis disappointed or hungry. Many people dining knew each other; always a good sign that people are discovering and returning to a good place for a great dinner at a very reasonable price. read more

I had dinner at Artemis for the first time recently and instantly fell in love with the food and the atmosphere. The owner has been in the restaurant business for years and his latest venture does not disappoint. I had the piyaz salad as an appetizer and split both the chicken kebab and a curry dish with my son for dinner. All three items were excellent and amongst the best I've ever had. I was especially pleased with piyaz as some Turkish restaurants tend to overdue either the oil or the parsley whereas Artemis had both just right (you can always add more, but it is tough to take it away). If you like Turkish food and you are in the area, make sure to stop in and have dinner (or lunch on the weekends). read more

Back in the early 80's i found myself in Crete on Air Force business. Some buddies and I hit a local restaurant and ordered nothing but cold appetizers and passed them around. Until today at Artemis, nothing compared. We were in the mood to explore and explore we did. We picked the Combo cold appetizer option and had stuffed grape leaves, Haydari (yogurt base w walnuts, garlic and dill), Piyaz (white beans, fresh peppers and light olive and vinegar dressing), and Baba Ganoush (smoked egg plant). Couldda stopped there. Glad we didn't. Mixed grill kabob for two with lamb, chicken, and two ground mixture editions) came with a delicious slaw style salad and exquisite rice. All were superb. Then the crown of the day: the baklava was light, sprinkled with pistachios and a dollop of cream. Never had better. Everything, from start to finish was perfectly balanced, fresh, and wonderful.
