Another issue was that she berated us within the first 5 minutes for not being honest with her when she made a statement we didn't agree with in our readings. We had our readings separately and did not realize this until we spoke about it afterwards. After this she asked many questions but really answered none. She can do natal charts, but I don't believe she has a true psychic ability unfortunately. I have been to someone in the past that is truly gifted, so I know the difference. Paula was very kind and welcoming. I booked a 30 minute chakra balancing and Reiki session and it all went by so quickly. I nearly cried at the beginning of it, somehow I thought of my therapist. I felt good after it was over. She tried to help me clear up some lingering stuff from a surgery I had a few years ago. She recommended I look into the throat chakra and get a turquoise necklace. Communication is something I've struggled with in therapy and in life so I wasn't surprised to hear that. She also helped with my fight-or-flight response which I know is always simmering below the surface. Overall, this was a great first experience and would come back the next time I visit Sedona.

Now I know why they rave about her. We have each had LOTS of great massages over the years and she stands out as one of the best. Not only is her massage technique and style unique and effective, she also is highly intuitive, positive, and great with tuning in to your body and energy. I found her to be very friendly and I immediately felt comfortable and safe in her presence. She works out of her modest and lovely home in the Village of Oak Creek. Her home feels welcoming to walk into, relaxed, beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. She has a number of gorgeous and very well-behaved and friendly cats and two very sweet dogs, so this is not an appropriate spot for those of you with cat allergies. She keeps her massage room nice and warm and it feels quite relaxing to settle in there. That hour and a half was SO relaxing! Based on the reviews I thought this was going to be a "positive place" our kid was not misbehaving and our baby was quiet in her baby seat. We were looking forward to a reading together. We stood outside, upstairs in the patio section and read two signs. One was in front of the door that read "quiet please" which made us believe there was a session in place and another one in the patio saying that it was a quiet space and that no cellphones or loud noises were around. We thought we could wait but I told my husband to go downstairs with our toddler to wait since waiting could make our toddler impatient. So I waited 10 minutes to see if anyone would come out to greet us or tell us the session ended. Told my husband we could wait another 10 minutes to see if anyone would come out. I thought the door was locked since it alluded to someone inside getting a reading. So my husband finally asked me if the door was opened. I never bothered to look so I checked. Door was opened and I walked in. There was a lady on her phone and keep in mind, it's super quiet there. First, she didn't bother to look up or greet me. Second, you could look from inside looking out and she clearly saw us waiting and never came outside to ask us if we needed anything. Because as it turns out, I asked "excuse me, is there a session in place?" She said yes. So I said "do you know when the reading ends?" Since we didn't want to keep waiting. She said "what are you looking for?" I said a psychic reading. She then looks me up and down, and says, "oh sorry I'm not doing any readings today" and then quickly looks at my purse. There was a fake smile at the end. The whole time, I felt an odd feeling. Because she was not friendly. Not welcoming. Didn't bother to check on us. The spot was easy to find and felt instantly welcoming as Priscilla gave us instructions on what to do as soon as we walked in. One might think it would feel weird to lay next to strangers, but it actually felt completely normal. We were all there for the same purpose and ultimately the same goal: relaxation. Priscilla began the session once we were all cozy. She passed out Kanuka oil and started the sound bath.
