Terrible. They're slow and have awful communication. They talk a good one when they're trying to get you to purchase from them and are awful as soon as you sign the contract. Screwed into my house with pool screen and didn't caulk our use proper sealing techniques and created major damage to my home. Artesian pools in Orlando lack attention to detail, experience and products to ensure quality of work. I reached out to request they addressed issue and Tony said "Screen warranty 1 year" even though it was evident they cause the damage and it occurred slowly overtime due to faulty installation. Artesian installed a pool for us during the pandemic in May 2020. Pool install was normal. Random people at your place un-announced for about six months but they only finished about a month behind schedule. Initially they were responsive with issues going on with the pool but we are 3 years post install, the fountain feature is leaking sediment into the pool and flooding the box behind the pool. They said it was our irrigation sprinkler at first but when we told them it was the pool fountain they then said we just needed to add grout. We asked them to complete this as we are not pool experts and we would even pay since they stated it was outside of the limited warranty period they offer but after a month of no response they just say to fix the fountain ourselves and then to call the paver company company to fix the cracked travertine in the fountain box. The company will communicate okay with you during the install because they have a project manager and want to get their final payment, but after that good luck. We are going to have to hire another pool company to fix their work after only three years. Disappointing as they promise you the world when they are getting you to sign the contract. read more

During the start of the pandemic I wanted to put a pool in my background after saving for many years. I looked all over the web and found a contractor that had beautiful pools pictures and decided to call them. I paid them a huge amount and they managed to pull out permits and build the shell. Contractor again asked for more money which I gave them and then they went bankruptcy into chapter 11 and finally chapter 7. I had a hole with large mountain of soil for over 2 years no backyard. I found out that contractor had done the same for around 500 different people that wanted pools. I could not fine anyone to take over initially the pool project until I found a company that was in business in Orlando, Florida for many years, had an excellent reputation and I decided to call them, the company name ARTESIAN POOLS. I spoke with Mr. Keith Cooper of Artesian Pools and he immediately came over and gave me a new estimate that included ripping out all the junk that was left since some of the sides had caved in. I signed contract and in record time he and his staff came in, got new permits, plans and build a Dream come true pool oasis in my backyard immediately. Artesian pools has done a wonderful job each time they have done work on our home. Their employees are always on time, professional and work hard to get the job done in a timely manner. The best part was the communication with the staff and the quality of the project. Artesian Pool staff kept me up to date with the timeline and never failed with dates. Finally I had the perfect pool in my backyard. Artesian Pools gave my wife and myself training on how to use all the equipment and maintain the pool. Best pool contractor ever. We had our pool done by Artesian a little more then 3 years ago. After a year and a half some of the pavers in our patio started to sink. This was the company that the sub their work out to. It is Yellow Brick Pavers. They had to come out and figures it was only a 1 year warranty we got charged for them to fix their poor work. Now another year and a half and we are having more pavers sinking. The pool is fine but if you go with Artesian let them build the pool, but hire a different company to do your pool deck because the company they use is horrible. read more

Designing phase was great, but all downhill from there. Artesian was highly recommended by a reputable pool service company, however, a promised 10 - 12 week turnaround is still in progress after 8 months. They have very talented sub contractors, but very messy, and throughout the entire construction, the workers spent an average of about 15 days of actual work. The claim of not being an assembly line business was false. I feel that I had to pressure Artesian to get any work done, and 8 months later, I'm still fighting with them. read more

First off pool builders are only as good as their subcontractors and Artesian uses the bottom of the barrel subs. They are only a project management company and they aren't very good in that role. After the pool is completed don't expect to hear from them again. I sent a letter to the president of the company and copied my sales rep with all of my concerns once the pool was completed. Never heard a single word from either. It has now been 2 years since the pool was completed and the tile grout is already breaking down and I have loose tiles. The standard response I always get from them is it's not our responsibility. You would think a pool would last longer than 2 years. I would not suggest using this company. read more

We are doing our 2nd pool with Artesian right now and I can honestly say the first go around i priced about 6 different Central FL companies, all w/same requests and Artesian was best price for an even bigger pool. Even with a request like "zero depth entry" where other companies told me it couldn't be done or was a "waste" (even though i wanted it) they made sure i had every detail from my wish list. The 2nd go around i only had one other quote done again because i knew what i would get - bigger pool & deck for same $$. I also appreciated a discount for being a repeat customer. One final note - I believe companies come and go over the years, but there is something to be said about a company that has been building pools in the same area for decades, in the same location all these years. read more

I requested a quote from this company and the experience was bad. A rep showed up to whom I explained what I was looking for. I even gave him a design for the pool I wanted as I was looking to compare apples to apples between them and their competitor. One week after, I had to call their office twice to find out the status of their quote so I can make a decision. I was told they were working on it and it was only after my 3rd call that they actually sent it with a complete different design. Though their price was actually lower I decided to award the project to their competitor "Blue Haven Pools" who not only provided a quote within 48 hours but they also followed up with me several times and offered to work on different options and designs. Artesian Pools never called me back after they sent their quote for a simple follow up. They may do good work but their sales and estimating department are less than what you would expect. read more

This is a good company with poor management. I did extensive research on pool companies before I settle with Artesian. I really enjoy working with the designer. The design process went well but after that everything was else was a struggle. This company work on my pool if I was lucky 2 times per week. They promise to complete the work in 12 weeks but here I am 16 weeks later and still struggling to get my pool finish. I am tired of calling and asking what is the next step. This company hardly update you on the schedule and I feel like I am begging them to build my pool. I am spending almost 90,000 with a company that i have to beg to get the work done not to mention they leave my place in a mess. Here is a tip, have the company put in the contract a penalty if the 12week past and they are unable to complete the work. I will not recommend this company because they should have been honest about the schedule. Artesian need to get their act together and communication better with their customers. read more

If you are considering building a inground pool please do yourself a favor and don't choose artesian pools. Yes the price may look great for what they say they offer but seriously consider spending a little more and go with a quality builder. Some background on why I'm making these statements. We spent a bit over $52,000 for what we thought was going to be one of the best purchases and experiences we have ever had. NOT!!!! The salesman johnathon (who I'm not sure really knew much about the company or products he was selling) was a poor representation for the company who says they care about their customers. He used pressure sales techniques and promised everything under the sun, to which most of the promises weren't delivered. Our pool process was started in july '18, we were promised the pool in 8-12 weeks. The pool actually didnt get finished until December. Here were some of the issues that occurred first the lead foreman quit at the beginning of the job they put another guy in that didn't really have a clue, I assume they fired him as after a few weeks he was never there again and didn't take any calls. So noone replaced him pretty much leaving everything up in the air. Contractors doing shotty work examples, the risers had to be redone 3 times and still didn't come out correctly, the finish for the pool was put in before last inspection so had to wait to put water in (as you may or may not know, was needs to be put in right away so you dont get stains, spots or cracks) the owners son apparently took over the company, didn't do a very good job. He is very impolite and it's my belief that customer service and satisfaction was furthest from his mind. When I stated we could end the project now and I would hire another contractor to finish what they apparently couldn't he stated " go ahead and we will take you to court for the rest of the money) instead of hey sir I apologize for all the inconveniences that have occurred, I'm on top of it now let me make this right and leave you with a good feeling. The steps in the pool are wavy and there are stains ( I believe from not putting water in right away) when I asked to be corrected they looked at me like I was crazy. Now 2 years later, the Pavers have sunk in some areas, the acrylic edge in 8 places have cracks some are really really bad. The elite roof leaks, the posts were bolted down on top of the pavers leaving them to look horrendous and a safety issue, the downspouts were cut short and the black drain pipe sticks up above the paver again very very shotty work. Anyway, I could continue on with this unbelievably traumatic and horrible experience but I think you get the gist of it. So again please do yourself a favor and consider spending a bit more money maybe not any better products but I'm quite sure considerably better workmanship and way better customer service. read more

Work has been done in dry season, so we got lucky that it was finished on time in 12 weeks. The sub contractor for deck paver was awful, there were so many uneven ones and you literally tripped over them, called them to redo the jobs and still not that great! and the retention wall looked nasty, didn't finished the job, we had to buy plants to cover it!! Once they got your money, they didn't return your phone calls, wouldn't recommend it. read more

I was promised a pool in 8-10 weeks, it ended up being 18-20 weeks. That was the first sign of things to come from Artesian Pools. Upon completion to now, 6 months, the chlorinator that we were sold must NOT work since there has never been a measure of chlorine in the pool. Since Artesian has no service department nor concern about their product, we are left on our own to fid someone to come out and fix whatever doesn't work. If there is a worse pool builder in central Florida, they must not be in business. read more
