This place is rather quiet in borough market. When all the other pubs and restaurants are full, e we manage to get a table here. The wine selection was great and price range is big so you can get cheaper ones if you are on a budget like us. And even when we order the cheaper ones, it's still quite tasty.

This is a piece of art by Dan Hilllbier. he made the piece that made the album cover for Royal Blood, one of my favorite bands.

Amazing, fantastic, great service amazing art and really good nonalcoholic beer. Everything at the market was closed. Being Monday being a tourist was hard for us to find a place to eat. Looking around we found Arthur Hooper and we're very very pleased with all the food. Burrata cheese was amazing. Thank you so much the carrot salad incredible the thing about that cheese is the seaweed that came with it was amazing call Samphire. It really soaked up and brought out the flavor and complemented the cheese. They had some really amazing almonds for a crunch. This was by far the best meal I've had in the UK in a long time.

Came here for drinks on a blustery evening and ordered the Irish Coffee (Irish whiskey, espresso, and double cream), Hot Buttered Rum (rum, spice syrup, apple juice, and butter), and a pint of Camden Hellis. Irish Coffee: warm, lovely presentation with 3 coffee beans nestled in a a layer of cream atop hot espresso. Light and minimally sweet. Hot Buttered Rum: Delicious! Like a hot toddy but creamy. Very flavorful, very easy to drink. Camden Hellis: light with a very strong honey scent. I don't know anything about the food, but it must be good because all the tables for food were fully booked up at 6pm.

It's located in an old wine cellar (the oldest in London) and dimly lit by candles. If you are looking for a spot that matches the dark and moody London aesthetic and offers plenty of history, this place is perfect for you. I was very surprised by the quick wait time. We travelled in August which is their busiest time of year and the most we had to wait for a table was maybe 10 minutes. This place seems to be a true hidden gem and more popular among locals than tourists. The cheese boards are delicious and just as unique as the place itself. They have plenty of flavors to choose from and have several different options depending on your budget. We went with the two cheese board and everything included paired perfectly with the wine. The staff was great at giving us recommendations and even let us sample several flavors before committing. We loved this place so much we decided to come back our last day for round two. If you are travelling to London, I highly recommend adding this wine bar to your list of places to eat or drink in the city.

Really cool atmosphere with a low cave ceiling, comprehensive wine list and lots of cheese, charcuterie and some other British favorites. We began with wine, rose bubbles and a glass of champagne- unfortunately my champagne was room temperature which is a per peeve of mine but the rose bubbles were served ice cold in a cold glass?! My husband did enjoy his wine! We were asked about food but they never came back so we decided to enjoy our drinks and the unique atmosphere before heading out
