(FYI in case you don't know: Peabody is JHU's music conservatory/school.) I attended my first concert at the Peabody Institute last weekend when we had some visitors in town. The concert we attended was a performance of the Peabody Symphony Orchestra. It was free, in the beautiful Miriam A Friedberg Concert Hall, and wonderful overall. It's a gorgeous venue and location for a classical music concert, and the Peabody musicians are so talented. The concert was wonderful. I'm planning on attending concerts in the future! What a wonderful place to hear classical music in the city! If you like/love classical music, want to support the Peabody students, or are in the area and want to try something new, check out their concerts and events page and take in a concert! Ms. Darby ushered nervous parents and anxious kids through Covid isolation by quickly adapting to an online format and provided several social outlets like family hip classes and coloring online with the kids. This Spring she even taught a Father Daughter class and gifted us with such a special memory to treasure. The last two years the addition of Musical Theatre has opened up a whole other avenue for expression for my child. This past year you could see a real focus on advancing technology and diverse modes of communication to reflect the times and keep parents informed. From dance, to theatre, to summer camp we are glad to be a MAD family.

Questioning her is deemed as harassment or bullying. Her fees are mentioned days before due as are her events... ie picture day. With no consideration for parents work schedules or finances. Extremely unprofessional... discussioning other parents affairs no matter the relationship is a no no. Mentioning you're behind on your rent to parents is a red flag. I've almost sent several people to her... grateful I didn't. Great for kids a nightmare for parents.
