No matter what your level of experience the teachers at the Columbia Dance Center will work to your level, one on one, and bring out the inner dancer in you. The entire staff is highly experienced, dedicated and passionate about dance. Every person who walks through the door is valued, respected and seen. I have decades of dance classes behind me and I have never loved dance so much as since I found this studio. They don't teach only to the best students and leave the rest in the dust, as has been my experience in other studios. They support, respect and uplift every single dancer. The curriculum they teach is consistent among all the instructors and is very thorough. My primary instructor is Ellias and he's a Jedi Master, I swear. I learn soooo much every lesson and have a blast doing it. You have the opportunity to work with all of the instructors and practice with them. They are all so generous with their knowledge. Kindness is the culture. No snobby attitude here! People of every age, background, ability, physicality, all levels, get 100%, no dancer left behind. It is so inspiring to watch some of the people who have worked to become Incredible, competitive dancers and know they started out just like you or I did. I don't aspire to compete, just to enjoy some hot Latin social dancing, but it is fun to watch Dancing with the Stars in real life.. I am happily hooked and am here for group classes and group practice parties in addition to my private lessons many times a week. That's where you get to meet the whole community of dancers like you to practice and friendships are made. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this Arthur Murray in Columbia. I've been coming to Xpose for 2.5 years now, and I still remember how nervous I was walking into…read morethe studio for the first time. That nervousness disappeared instantly thanks to the warm welcome I received at the front desk. As someone who's a bit older, I wondered if I'd feel out of place--but age has never been a factor here. The environment is inclusive, supportive, and empowering. I've taken classes with every instructor, and not once have I had a bad experience. Each one brings their own unique energy, style, and creativity to class. The choreography is consistently fun and challenging, and the music always hits. No two classes are the same, which keeps things exciting and fresh. Every time I leave class, I feel stronger, more confident, and completely empowered. I'm not the same person I was when I first walked in over two years ago. I'm completely obsessed with pole now, and I owe it all to Xpose for helping me discover that passion--and for giving me the space to grow into the person I am today.

I thought that was a great price and it included ballet and tap. We had not been able to find tap shoes in time so on the first day the teacher was kind enough to let my daughter borrow a pair for the duration of the session. Ms. Irina the dance instructor is great! She's kind, fair with the kids and my daughter has been able to show others what she has learned in dance class. I'm really glad I found Karen Sachs! And I'm excited about signing my daughter up for the next session.

The staff and the actors are amazingly wonderful, talented people who come out and chat with you after the show and are just all around fun people! Friday Night 7:30pm Laura Benanti…read more One woman show "Nobody Cares" Date night and this was my choice. I originally wanted to see BOCKY but the play was over. So as I was looking at other shows and miss thang Benanti was damn near sold out ! I was like who is this lady ? So, I bought 2 aisle seat tickets on the mezzanine level. Now , let's get into these seats. Mezzanine is a great place to sit in the Pearl Theater. You can see from every angle as long as there isn't a tall person in front of you. What I don't understand about the theaters is LEG ROOM. If a show is over 30 min with no intermission , the audience is slowly dying. We are cramped and hoping that the alcohol will soothe the pain. Most of the theater audience is elderly. I'm not sure what center stage can do about it but no intermission is pushing it. What else ? The bathrooms were clean Drinks and snacks over priced. Top me off if the cheap wine is $14 . Parking ? Surprisingly reasonable. The parking garage was $8 Street parking was probably cheaper than that if you could get it.
