He rushed in, in late aftenoon , looked like he was late for a dinner date, called for a nurse, didn't give my mother any warning, yanked it out of her head, with her screaming in pain, and was gone. No sutures, no dressing placed on this open wound communicating to her brain. She was transferred later that evening out of ICU, and within 24 hours had developed meningitis and returned to ICU. I insisted I didn't want Rosario anywhere near her, and the neurologist in charge of Regional's ICU agreed to oversee her care. I'm still in shock from this unbelievably negligent care she received. maybe he's more professional with his own patients but I'd never risk it, myself.

They were patient, thorough, and took the time to go through my imaging and treatment options in detail. All of my questions and concerns were addressed -- something I had felt was missing from the initial phone consultation. The willingness to follow up and ensure I felt heard as a patient made a meaningful difference. Chronic pain is a complex journey and finding a physician who is willing to engage thoughtfully and take concerns seriously matters enormously. She went through a series of tests to narrow down what might be going on and explained each step as she went along. She spent a considerable amount of time going through my wife's symptoms and reasons to eliminate or investigate further as a cause for her issues. She came up with next steps and follow up, that I thought were excellent. The young lady working the front office was very pleasant and enthusiastic which contributed to a feeling of confidence that we are seeing the right team. Nov 2025 I've had a…read morework related neck injury since May 2024. I had 4 ruptured discs as a result of the injury. Because work comp took so long, I also developed bone spurs. Despite my QME stating my injury was indeed work related, they still denied all my treatment including a recommendation by the work comp neurosurgeon for surgery. Work comp also denied my appeal. As of date, work comp still has not approved my surgery. I've been in so much pain for the past 16 months and my quality of life greatly diminished. I developed atrophy on my left side of my body and left arm. I read reviews of Dr B. There were nothing but glowing reviews. I met with him in n Sept 2025 and he went over my MRIs and symptoms. He was GREAT! Dr B explained the "why's" of my ailments and provided me with options to remedy my injury. After a very thorough informative consult, I decided to skip work comp and go through my personal doctor. I chose to have a spinal decompression and 3 level anterior cervical fusion. A few days later, Dr Bs office called and scheduled my surgery. They were very responsive and provided detailed pre and post-surgery recommendations. The day of the surgery, I went to Good Sam. I remember being rolled into the surgery room and waking up in recovery. Immediately, I had sensation in my left hand again. It's been 3 weeks post surgery and I'm feeling great. Dr Bs staff have been very helpful and informative. His PA AManda Diep has been amazing as well. I'm so glad I didn't wait for workers comp and went w Dr B. I'm hoping for a full recovery.

Great doctor, the worst office staff I have ever worked with…read more Somewhere between every exam and the front office, prescriptions get lost and there is complete unresponsiveness to my calls and emails. I have been trying for (literally) years to get my prescription correct. Every refill is messed up. I continually have to call and call again the office to fix this. I've talked to the office manager, been assured things will get fixed. That specific prescription is fixed, but the next time around I am back in the circus. I hate to leave the doctor due to operational issues... but OMG!!! Again, good doctor, but miserable experience. You pick.

So, how could I keep getting worse and this not mean anything???? I was referred to Dr Lettice by a lovely woman at El Camino hospital who said he specializes in complex cases and she thought he would be a good fit for me. I called, spoke with Diane who is amazing and got me in right away. I was Embarrassingly late for my appointment and assumed I wouldn't be seen but hoped to drop off images and reports and cross my fingers that he was the type of doctor who would look at them. Nope! I was seen in a matter of minutes by Dr Lettice. He came in calm, not rushed, sat next to me and spoke with a gentle tone and was insanely thorough. He was Kind and patient and explained what he saw, what was happening, answered all my questions and then FINALLY I got a diagnosis and a game plane for treatment!!!! I wanted to cry, for the first time in 5 years someone said YES you do have pain and YES I can help you!!! I researched my diagnosis and it was to a T! How did everyone from Stanford to Palo Alto to several private practice spine specialist not know about this condition??? I feel so honored to be able to get treatment from Dr Lettice. It breaks my heart that so many of us suffer for so long, being told it's in our head when we really are sick. This gentleman is cut from a different cloth. Compassion, empathy, understanding, knowledgeable and competent. I just can't say enough about how this one appointment has changed my life and given me so much hope. From the beginning 4+ years ago, I was told I would need to continue to use my wheelchair and walker till "I'm bad enough for surgery, when I'm in my 40's"! For the past 4 years I was living everyday in pain, depressed and defeated just counting the days that would get me to 40. That was 8 years away when this started to get severe. Sadly nothing showed up from all the diagnostic procedures. They did everything to try to help me and were incredibly compassionate to my suffering. My next step is going to a pain doctor to help me deal and maybe find a solution for me, he is supposed to be a excellent physician, my appointment is a month from today, the waiting...
