They came back looking brand new. So I went back and took some of my dad's things, similar prices except upcharged for a very heavy men's coat. I came back to pick them up and I paid special attention on the coat with more expensive cleaning and they did a great job. I would say priced very fair and do excellent work. Nice to find a business like that these days!

Shirl is also very responsive and I knew I was leaving my dress in great hands. Since Shirl started making her own dresses before she started altering them, she really understands how to adjust a dress in the most flattering way possible, and is a true expert at what she does. A huge bonus is that Shirl has an amazing sense of humor (dry and glorious!) which put me at ease during my fittings. I was told everything would be ready for pick-up on Saturday (as stated on the receipt) so I stopped in yesterday. The clothes are needed for work on Monday morning. When I handed the cashier my receipt, I was informed that my blouses were ready, but not my pants. I was not happy with this. The owner, Ria, approached me and said she didn't have my pants and asked when I needed them. I explained I work in Center City and wouldn't have time to come by before work on Monday. She said she could meet me at the dry cleaners today (Sunday) and provide the pants. My understanding is they don't dry clean dress slacks on premise. She took down my phone number and said she'd call me. Yesterday evening I got a phone call from Ria saying she had 4 pairs of pants ready and was willing to drop them off to me at my doorstep. I didn't know what to say. She drove from her home to get me my pants and hand them to me. The customer service blew me away. Ria said I would get a text message indicating when I could pick up the remaining pairs of pants. I'm sure you could imagine how displeased I could've been walking away from this business, but Ria was quick to turn a negative experience around and make sure I was a happy client. I can't thank Ria and Julie's enough for their dedication to their customers.

I had a wedding guest gown that needed to be taken up and it had to be done by that Friday. I drove to the shop and it was a small place with two rooms. It was in an old building, next to a realtor, with parking in a lot. The inside was old and also beat up, dirty, and dusty but I didn't let that bother me. A woman was working on the sewing machine. I don't know if that's Eric's wife. There's a room to change in the back so I put the dress on and Eric measured it. I left. Eric texted me that the dress was ready Friday morning. I picked it up and it was the perfect length. It looked great! It was taken up at the waist so the pretty bottom of the dress that had an asymmetrical ruffle was not touched. I was very happy with it. Later that day, I accidentally dialed the store number so hung up quickly. Eric saw that I called and called me back to make sure that everything was ok. How nice is that? I highly recommend this shop for anything that you need tailored. They do a wonderful job and it's worth every penny!

This is a top spot for men's clothing and Mike is an excellent tailor as well.

I moved to Bucks County in 2006 and tried a few places near me but none compare to Guido's for fit, style and wear.
