I went to an "estate" sale today in northport that was run by Jane Crockett, the owner of this company. The items were very dirty and very overpriced. I had a small glass dish and a wooden tray, Jane asked $15 for both. when I said that was way too much she made a comment saying that it wasn't overpriced. As I was leaving she mumbled that I should go and shop at Walmart. Jane was extremely rude and continued insulting me. I said I would be leaving a bad review and she said no matter because she has so many good reviews. I understand people can have a bad day but Jane went too far with her insults. read more

This was my first experience attending an estate sale. It was a high end estate auction. I was quite nervous as patrons were a bit rowdy prior to entering the residence. The staff coordinated and streamlined the auction like a well oiled machine. All the staff were super nice and available for assistance but there was one who is truly a "Diamond in the rough", Lisa. I can't say enough great things about her. Lisa is just a gracious, patient and wonderful person. A true "one in a million" and the world would be a place is we had more like her. I was in what I'm sure is a pretty typical situation, but of course was so overwhelming! My parents had passed away, and I now had their home, filled to the brim with a lifetime of possessions. Living in Florida, I knew I wanted to keep the house, but where do I even begin to clear the house and prepare it as a rental? I researched online, and Artifacts Liquidators really stood out, not only for their positive reviews, but it was clear Jane and her team had years (generations!) of experience. But what I needed was more than the estate sale -- I also needed the house to be prepared as a furnished rental. So it wasn't a straight-forward "clean-out". Each room had to be considered -- which items should be sold/donated, and which should remain for the rental? Jane knew immediately what I needed, and after our first meeting, I knew that I could return to Florida and the sale and clean-out was in good hands. Although I wasn't present for the sale, I heard from my friends and neighbors how smoothly it was run. When I returned to the house a few weeks later, it was so far beyond my expectations, I couldn't believe it. The house was beautiful -- not only were the personal items cleared out, but the house was actually impeccably staged, ready for the rental! I also have to make an extra-special mention of Lisa, Jane's associate. I could tell that Lisa took such painstaking care to go through everything, preparing for the sale -- she even set aside family mementos that she came across, which I didn't even know existed! I hadn't even met Lisa until I returned to the house weeks after the sale, and yet she took such a heartfelt interest, I can't tell you how much I appreciated it.
