I have had so many pieces of jewelry repaired by Al. He is an expert at what he does and fair and honest. I highly recommend his work.! I purchased a watch there, that stopped running in one year, brought it in and inquired, why? Answer: It needs a new battery. I paid $15 cash (big mistake!) for a new battery. He reset the time. within a day it lost time. I brought the watch in (again!). Answer: The watch battery is good, but is defective, parts stopped working. They even knew that watch purchased there, still refused to refund the $15. Watch is now garbage, A Lose-Lose situation. For $15 Jewelry Clinc lost a local customer including my family, and likely neighbors, too. Don't ever buy from the Jewelry Clinic - the WORST! read more

Just went in to this store for a new watch battery. Was not greeted. The store was dingy and the none of the showcases were eye-catching. Usually when waiting in a jewelry store, you find all of these items that you really like. This place didn't have that "I want to buy something here one day" feel. Yes, quite a while ago I brought my daughters wedding diamond and band to above establishment. I met with the owner to have him appraise it. He said to me that they were only worth 250 to 300 dollars. As you can imagine that was quite upsetting considering they were bored 10 years previous for $8000 at Jared his exact words to me were these are used which makes them not worth anything. I returned. The rings to my daughter, told her what he said she subsequently took the rings to another jeweler who gave her $4000, I thought long and hard about making these remarks and decided to do it. He and his staff have been able to make laser repairs on bracelets that no one else could repair and his prices are very reasonable. Just picked up my husbands silver chain he was getting the bail replaced since it was worn out . The repair he did look terrible almost no effort in doing it right and he ended up melting 2 chain links together . Will not go back not worth loosing more links. Worst job ever !!! I had a very negative experience at the Jewelry Clinic after dropping off my grandfather's watch for a cleaning. I dropped off the watch in working condition, but with some moisture behind the glass, and prepaid (foolishly) $95 for a cleaning. I was told at the time it would take a week or two. Over the next 7 months I repeatedly called once a month to politely inquire about the status of my watch, and was repeatedly given the run around. When I finally got the watch back, the moisture was gone but the face was scratched up and damaged, and it lost functionality (the ability to adjust and reset the date was no longer working). I brought in an old watch and band for repair. They have sentimental value. The watch and band do not match, and for many years I had trouble with the band breaking. Other jewelers had only made a poor repair. The Jewelry Clinic drilled new holes in the watch case and used a curved pin to match the band to the watch. I would like to give no stars. I have used the jeweler for over 15 years, know owner personally. Today, in really bad weather, I got out of my car at exactly 10 am., the opening time. Lights were on. I waited freezing, cold and getting wet. Door was locked. A young woman approaches door, did not acknowledge me, even tho we made eye contact . Puts her key in the door, closes it and locks it. Without a word to me. I AM APPALLED! Who treats customers like that? I waited in y car 10 minutes, and doors were not open. I will never ever give this store my business, and will spread the word. I called and spoke to manager and he was silent on phone, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY!! Do not give this business your hard earned money. . read more

Every piece, including the custom ones I've had done, has come back within a week (two if something had to be ordered) and was less expensive than the quotes I received from other jewelry stores in Tanger. read more
