Wow. I was not expecting to enjoy my meal here so much but the reviews definitely do this place justice. Not only are they extremely friendly and helpful, the quality here is top notch. I had the beef stew which came with a beautifully made French baguette. The beef stew was incredible. It had a unique flair that I wasn't expecting, but was delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. I also had their waffle creation with cream on top that was very good. The restaurant itself is small with a seating area in the back that is always packed because of how popular it is. Definitely worth trying! read more

Very cute place. Blueberry and cheese danish 5/5 delicious and also the prettiest danish I've seen! Raspberry croffle 3/5 the waffle was okay but the cream and raspberries were excellent. This place was just croffle. I mean, croffle-amazing. Uh, I've got croffle on the brain. A croissant mashed into a waffle iron, and optionally topped with fruit and cream: that's a croffle. It was great but honestly I feel like the cinnamon sugar or plain ones would work better than the fruit--they're a little heavy but still delicious. My son had a plain croissant and said it was flaky and crisp, the best he'd ever had. (His other basis is Costco croissants, and this was definitely better!) Known for their croissants, this place has a charming vibe with tables inside and a couple outside. I highly recommend trying the banh mi sandwiches as well as the baguettes to go. I recently used on of their baguettes with bruschetta and it was perfectly crisp on the outside and pillowy on the inside. read more

Finally got to try this place. It is lovely. It is definitely not the original Boulanger, but this one has their own variety and great for the Media area. More variety, delicious, clearly posted wifi. Lemon chicken nicely packed so that it doesn't spill and quick service. Flavorful sandwich and coffee is on-point. Pastries are flavorful as well. With limited days, I wish they were open more in the evening as well- especially Sat evening. Maybe a crowd from the Media theater where they hold plays catered to older crowds might come out. People are friendly. They should consider TooGoodToGo for their leftover pastries and such. read more

Strawberries n creme croissant - cream is light and goes perfectly paired with their delicious croissant Chocolate croissant- again, not too sweet. The croissant has this nice crisp on the outside but soft and buttery inside. Ice vietnamese coffee - it's like Crack. The slight sweetness and bitterness of this amazing coffee is just amazing. For those who never had it, be careful bc the caffeine kick is crazy Pork banh mi- meat is so flavorful. My daughter killed it. And it's on their freshly baked baguette. I don't typically leave reviews but this was really great. I popped in late in the day, everything was sold out except the sweets and banh mi. People inside were taking highly about it. While I was there, 4 or 5 different people came in to see if they had anything left to buy- really good sign. I was there for maybe 20 mins lol. Staff was very nice and place is clean. Got macaroons and a chicken sandwich. Was a pretty pricey but macaroons are the real deal. I was in Paris last week and it's on par with the better patisseries over there. We arrived 15 minutes after opening on a Sunday and the line was already out the door. But let me tell you that the food and experience was well worth the short wait. As we walked inside, the smells immediately transported me to my college study abroad days in Paris and the amazing patisseries that were found on almost every corner. We got a variety of croissants (peach, chocolate almond, almond and blueberry), a craffle with cream and strawberries, and a few different egg, cheese, and meat croissandwiches. We also got iced Vietnamese coffees to drink. The women behind the counter were friendly and efficient, keeping the line moving. The food was absolutely fantastic. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other croissant options and the macarons. Finally, the iced Vietnamese coffees were amazing. They were my favorite treat during my time living and working in South East Asia, so I'm very excited for a local place to pick them. This place and service was okay. I asked about what was in the banh mi and was told that the banh mi was not the usual traditional Vietnamese version. I then asked how come it was listed as banh mi and the response was that banh mi is just another word for "bread." This isn't technically incorrect but was a little offensive to me as a Vietnamese patron because they obviously did not intend to just sell just "bread" as the menu item but would be profiting off a well known menu item. However, I did enjoy the coffee and pastries. Pistachio croissant was nice to look at but had very little pistachio flavor. Blueberry and cheese croissant was tasty. This awkward exchange aside, the jambon & beurre sandwich was actually good even though it is just ham, butter, on a baguette. I'll be coming back for the plain baguettes and perhaps I might get around to trying their version of banh mi. read more

Happy for this new business as it always seems to be busy! There were sold out the first time I tried to stop in and had a huge line the second time. I found out they were closed on Monday and Tuesday and was happy to walk in today to get to try their croissants I've been hearing rave reviews over. They have more options than I expected and will be back to try a bahn mi for lunch sometime soon. We selected 3 croissants to try, a chocolate, chocolate almond, and strawberry & cheese. The strawberry & cheese is delicious! The chocolate is good as well. Was disappointed the chocolate almond was burnt (possibly why it was the only one covered in powdered sugar). Will be back for sure. Only tip to share would be look at what you are selecting and maybe avoid powdered sugar (it case it's camo for overdone) read more
