Cute place with lots of plants and jewelry and candles and such to look at. It's my oldest daughter's favorite place to get coffee. I didn't try the coffee but grabbed a couple of the breakfast wraps to take home. They were good but on the smaller size for the price, in my opinion. I will have to give the coffee a try next time. Overall, a nice hip little place.

This is a long overdue review! During the pandemic, I would come to this coffee shop almost every day -- one of the only activities during those days that I had looked forward to. Six or so years later and after moving to Florida, I still look forward to the times I am able to stop by and pick up an avocado toast and a latte. I have never been disappointed! Friendly staff, delicious coffee and the best avocado toast I have ever had!!! The lemon zest is such a wonderful touch and complements the avocado and sea salt so well. Thank you for being so consistent in delivering quality food and beverage

Not too busy on a rainy Saturday. Quick service, very cute place, lots of outdoor seating available, and plants to shop from in local made planters! The matcha and iced lattes were a hit and the creative toasts too!

UPDATE: Stopped back at this kitschy spot because I really want to like it; I'm just never in the area. Decided to go in a different direction and had a matcha latte with oat milk and it definitely didn't disappoint! Unsweetened matcha lattes are quite difficult to come by for some reason, and this one is delicious. 10/10 recommend! Taking off 1 for the parking situation only (not many parking spaces and street parking is even worse).

Cutest place for breakfast & seasonal toasts! We had the harvest toast & lemon ricotta. Both were excellent. Ambiance 11/10 Brown sugar clove latte & fig spice lattes were out of this world. Strange but in the best way!

Burlap and Bean has become our go-to coffee shop in Media when we are in-town visiting family from Chicago. Of all the competition in the area: Burlap is the standout for a variety of reasons. First, it is the best tasting and highest quality coffee. From drip/black coffee to fancy/creative espresso drinks: you can't go wrong. Everything is delicious and will meet your coffee needs. Some personal favorites are the nitro cold brew and seasonal lattes such as the Honey Bee Latte. Second, the food is delicious! I've had a couple of their salads and the quantity, quality, and freshness is divine. I had the strawberry almond salad today and it was perfect on this hot day. My husband had the avocado toast and it was scrumptious. They do not hold back on the avocado or other ingredients, creating a hearty and flavorful experience! Third, the staff are friendly, the location is clean and inviting, and the plants/pots are fun to look over as you wait! We love it and always look forward to the next stop. We also always get beans to take home with us to prolong the deliciousness! Disclaimer: for the fresh/high quality ingredients and coffee, you will need to wait and pay the higher prices. If you want cheap/fast coffee and food, this may not be the place for you. You get what you pay/wait for here: THE BEST! Thanks for the high quality coffee and food, Burlap and Bean! See you soon!

The avocado toast with sea salt was amazing and they did not scrimp on avocado nor was it brown even though it's not in season.

I wish they had more specials - they had a lot of photos online with no descriptions - I'd love that ! Or like suggested drink combos! All in all nice spot in Media ! There is not parking though at the shop if you plan on skipping the drive thru!

I love the Omelettes, they're definitely above average, they come with fried potatoes and perfectly toasted/buttered bread. I love putting the omelette on top of the bread, so good! The perfect amount of food and I clean my plate everytime. Although, not enough for leftovers. I've gotten the 14 Hour Pork Butt Omelette and the Kennett Square Omelette. Both were delicious! My boyfriend and family have had the Huevos Rancheros--which looked amazing and I was told it was delicious. Looked like a lot of food too, so if you want something more filling and hearty, I'd get that over the omelettes. They've also had the breakfast sandwiches, which looked like a steal for the price and very good as well. The coffee, hot chocolate and tea is great too, and fairly priced! I get a drink every time, and they make sure you have refills, sugar, honey, whatever you want with it. Overall I recommend this place as a pretty good option if you're in Media!

It was a bustling yet comfortable little restaurant, split into two separate rooms. My daughter and I sat on the side with the grill, which had extra windows since it's on "The Corner" and some nice green plants that brightened things up a little more. The Huevos Rancheros didn't disappoint - I ordered mine with the coffee rubbed short rib. It really was good and it was cooked perfectly. The crispy potatoes were so good and actually crispy, unlike most other places that just have a little crisp to them. I adore home fries, and they can be hard to cook just right, so I really enjoyed these. The service was great and the waitress was so friendly. Oh, and there was an earthquake while we were there - and my daughter was the only one who even felt it LOL Overall, it was a yummy and fun visit. I'm glad I finally got to try it out, and I will definitely go again sometime.

After walking down State for about a block, we settled on 320 as a good place to stop to get something that would be tasty but also quick enough to get us in and out the door in enough time to be on our way but also provide a wide enough selection for the three of us to select something that we each wanted. Being fans of 320 Market in Swarthmore, I was used to this place when we went inside, although it is markedly different from the location that we usually go to. The space is a little bit more sparse and feels less like a market than the one in Swarthmore, but the staff is still nice, and the colors are bright, and the selections are still wide and vary across the spectrum of flavors enough to make everyone happy. I ordered pierogis at the counter as did my daughter, and my wife ordered spanakopita and then we were told to take a seat anywhere we liked. I do know that they obviously had to prepare everything fresh which is one reason that we like 320, but I also know, the spanakopita is coming from a much larger sheet and the pierogis only have to be fried and plated. For some reason things were taking an extremely long amount of time. The spanakopita came out relatively quick but was a little cold in the center. Still tasted delicious, but not ideal. However, the pierogis took forever. Not sure why because this was prime lunch time, around 11:30 and they weren't busy. Either way, when they did come out, they were played brilliantly, but I had to ask the wonderful guy at the counter to put them into containers so that my daughter and I could take them with us due to our fine constraints. He was more than happy to help and did his best to arrange them nicely in the containers, but for some reason the manager seemed to have a problem with the fact we ordered them to sit down and then asked to have them put into containers. He protested to some extent, albeit not directly to me, but when I looked in his direction alarmedly (which I'm not sure is even a word, lol) he simply stopped and went back to his other conversation). Even after our fifteen minute drive, the pierogis were superb and obviously made by hand from scratch. While I do like the other 320 Market location better and go there much more frequently just based on proximity to my home, this one was also good. I would go here again, and if you are in Media and need a good place for well-made delicious foods and interesting beer and wine that you won't find anywhere else, this is definitely your spot to go. There are many different choices of restaurants in Media to select from, but this is one place that is set up a bit differently, more like a "market" as described in its name. Go and check them out if you've never been, I bet there's something there that you'll enjoy!
