If possible, deal with the Orchard Park office for quotes and customer service. The one in NT is fine if you avoid the woman at the counter. From the first hello, she is just awful. How in the world do you have her dealing with customers? Throw her in the back to create quotes and invoices and put someone with people skills in the front. Other than that, we had great luck with getting all of our siding supplies in stock. Pricing was better than Lowes and Home Depot by a lot. read more

Did a DIY soffit and siding job on my home. Never did this before so I had some concerns about how to do the job correctly. Fortunately, I stopped at Miris and because of their low prices decided to get the materials from them. I have been in industrial sales, and I think I was Miris' customer from hell with all the questions I had and the time I took from their counter people. Their people are great, very knowledgeable and patient, they answered all my questions and gave me some tips that saved me a few bucks and aggravation. Delivery was right on time including the custom gutters I needed and the quality was great. I am a customer for life. Noticing that Yelp seems to only recommend the reviews of the crybabies like Marissa M who, for some reason, thinks $1700 is more than $2500. I doubt anyone will see this. read more

Ive bought windows here about a half dozen times. There solid windows, but the main lady whose always working is rude and acts inconvenienced she has to deal with customers. Not occasionally, everytime! Shes just one of those unhappy/nasty people you wanna ask "why do you even work here?" Even the contractors I've hired have said the same thing regarding their experiences. You can buy building supplies at plenty of places and what should separate one from the next is good customer service ans price. Unfortunately they have separated themselves from the competition with terrible customer service and lack of courteousness/social skills. Its not often that i go out of my way to not give a business my money, but they are one that I will not buy from, regardless of price. read more

Needed a few items to finish my steel roof.Items were not in stock. I was told that someone from the Orchard Park store would bring them in on Saturday. I go to the store Saturday at 2pm. turns out the driver in Orchard Park called in sick, My items did not arrive. At 4pm I get a a phone call from Becca telling me she was on her way to my house to bring me the missing items. The items were only worth about $25. A+ for Good/economical building materials F- for customer service. I am in the midst of renovating a completely gutted house. We heard about Miris because of their inexpensive yet high quality windows. We went to check them out and realized they were just as good of quality as an Anderson window yet much less in price. We also saw siding, soffit, j channel, and many other building supplies that we decided to get there. We basically chose this place for all of our building needs. So here's the situation. I requested a quote from the Sale Rep Becca. She told me she would e-mail me the quote and took my e-mail address. A few days go by and I called her, I said I never got a quote. She forgot to send it. Okay, fine. Two days go by she sends me an e-mail "here is the quote" with NO ATTACHMENT. I e-mail her back, hey Becca no attachment. "Oops sorry about that" and finally over a week and a half later she sends me the quote. I forward it to my boyfriend. After having the windows measured and decisions made there were some changes that we sent her that we wanted to have a new quote on (maybe 2-3 windows/specs changed) so she sends us another quote. A week or so later we place the order. We ordered over $2500 worth of windows from them, custom. So after deciding to change two windows from that order my bf sends her an email and says okay we want to change one thing. She says okay. So, we go in and we pay $1700 deposit which obviously is more than the $2500. Now, follow me here...so the two windows that we changed ended up being less than the original amount so it dropped the price down to like $2300 or something like that... *remember now we have paid $1700 out of the $2300* so pick up day comes along. We get all the windows from Miris and BEHOLD. the two windows we made a change to aren't there. They were NEVER ordered. Well my contractor says since they're new construction windows he doesn't want to start the siding without ALL the windows b/c they do them at the same time. She tells us, well i didn't place the order because you didn't put a deposit down. We said "WHAT?" she said, well since i had to make it a second and different order you needed to put down a deposit on that order too. we said okay well why didn't you tell us that? she says I e-mailed you. We pulled up the emails it said "if you want me to place this order i need you to confirm" my bf pulls up the email where he says "YES CONFIRM" she she says again, well you never paid the deposit. Um, lady... if you needed MORE money then why didn't you just call us?? We would have come here and paid you. no call, no accountability nothing. She REFUSED to even say she was sorry while she stand there resting b****CH facing you the whole time. It's been nothing but a train wreck dealing with them, unfortunately. Because of their inexpensive prices we still have to work with them. The next time i went back there to get some j channel she says to me with the same resting B**CH face "this your first house?" just SO condescending. I just cannot believe that someone would let this women work at the front counter with an attitude like she has. It's completely uncalled for and out of line. So i'm not sure if she was frustrated because we made changes to the order or what but there's no excuse for just NOT notifying someone that you're not going to place their order, when we are obviously more than willing to pay. Just a crock. Our entire project got held up because she said the two new windows wouldn't be in for over 2 wks. well we couldn't wait that long we ended up having to purchase to windows in stock that didn't truly fit and our contractors were forced to jimmy-rig some stuff together to make it work. Thankfully they were able to make it look good since it's in the very front of our house. But terrible experience overall. read more

No one had parts I needed in WNY area to install exterior lights and doorbells over my siding, they had all the trim pieces I needed plus as an added benefit staff was very helpful and cheerful ! Love this place . Lowe's and Home Depot sell big ticket items but no way to finish projects because they don't want to carry the needed pieces to actually complete the job . read more

Terrible company to do business with! When we ordered the windows, we specified a stock size. They changed the size which made it a "special order". We were never told it was a "special order". It does not say so on the receipt or in their brochures. When we asked for an exchange, the owner was rude and disrespectful, stating that "special orders" are final and we should have known. Looks like we will have to take the company to small claims court. read more
