Young Aldo has great communication skills, he kept me in the loop on the fabrication progress and listened carefully at what I was looking for. He is always prompt in any communications, in order to fit our tight schedules, the team came out Saturday to do the work. We very much appreciated that! Aldo, the father, is most skillful and one of the smartest person we ever worked with. The counter on the sink side has many tricky corners, he got it perfectly! We ran into an issue with one of the vanity with 6" apron. He creatively came up a solution and tirelessly carried the stone piece back to his shop to refinish. The precision on each stone piece and the lining-up with the cabinet are just perfect! The Aldos are good people to work with, they are skillful and most importantly very kind. This company did the landscaping. It took me 2-3 weeks to get these guys to send me the original plans so we could make edits. It was like pulling teeth to get them to respond or listen to problems and they have been very unreliable. I did tell them we were interested in more work and they gave me quotes but were supposed to get back to me with more information and never did. They gave me the excuse multiple times that they were on vacation, but after hearing this multiple times from multiple different people, it gets old. Not a good way to run a business. workmanship issues on existing systems: Our lawn has been dead since original placement and you can see sod lines from where it was first laid which means it has been failing since the start. I have been attempting to revive it and found out when I aerated it that there is rock directly below the sod, so not enough soil was placed. The company did supposedly attempt to put fertilizer on it when this was brought up during home inspections/sale, to no avail, with no follow up. We noticed house across the street, same landscaper, has large brown spots also. We have had multiple (4-5) leaks with the drip systems (I understand this is common but it shouldn't be in a brand new system). We even had some dead plants because they apparently ran the line to it and then forgot to insert a dripper into the line at the plants. There was a leak in the sprinkler backflow which we had to fix ourselves because the company wouldn't get back to me. During the repair we saw they used incorrect materials, pipe dope on PVC pipe for example. It also appeared they did not use primer when they bonded the PVC which is probably what lead to the leak in the first place (or just a sloppy application) as it was leaking from an above ground elbow under PVC tape. Worse yet we also discovered no drain for the sprinklers was ever installed, so come winter this system would have frozen and broken pipes, but now I have to dig it up and do the job correctly.

The lead foreman and worker on the job is named 'Chenca' and he did have a helper on site. 'Chenca' pretty much did all the work while his associate spent all his time on the mobile phone talking to his girl friend LOL. Chenca was to say the least, meticulous. Flawless. Brazilian Stone is so blessed to have such a talented skilled artisan. What I really liked about Brazilian Stone and Chenca was how flexible they were with me. They came to the job site to accomplish a few tasks and as you know, when you are 'deep in it' you find more things to do and fix. Well, Brazilian Stone and Chenca were up to the task and took care of everything and made my built-in 1936 home landscape masonry look like brand new again. The photos I post here do no justice.
