I kept trying to contact them so we could work out the details of the project and try with samples first because it was a tricky production. Silence. At this point I am panicking because I had already paid and I am running out of time. Then they come back with a suboptimal product, poorly produced but I had to bite my tongue because I had already paid and needed it for the event. A couple of months later, the product (a wall plaque) fell apart on its own, so reluctantly I contacted iCrafts. As you can imagine never heard from them. I told the guy that I wanted to come out there and look at the materials, he said okay. I confirmed the hours. I got there and it was all locked up gated up so I called. He said he'd be there in about 5 or 10 minutes which actually turned out to be 15 to 20 minutes. A little hole in the wall literally, out in Glendale, took me about an hour to get there. He was not very pleasant, kind of rude. I started to walk out but they were the best estimate for my budget. I hope it was worth it and not a waste of my time. I have not received the product as of yet.

Once you get close, there is a neighboring beauty salon. Laser Sharp has their own office space next door. (It is the white door with laser cut design) The SERVICE IS AMAZING! This business can do sooooo much! Teresa and Al's email response is quick and friendly. They are really good at explaining what art files they need from you. The price is great too. Teresa was responsive to my yelp request for an engraving job quote, was able to work on acrylic, and gave a reasonable price and FAST same day turn around. She made time for my small, but meaningful engraving job for my team at work, helped me pick out fonts that enhanced the job, and I can't wait to give there engraved performance awards to my staff! The shop is not far from downtown LA (DTLA) where I work (15-20 min drive) so that I could drop off the job at lunch. There was plenty of street parking and the shop is right in a small building next to a beauty shop and close to the 76 station on the corner. What's great about this place is also the atmosphere... you walk into the shop and see displays of creative, artistic wood cutting, paper cutting, laser cutting jobs ranging from complex 3-D models to beautifully adorned signs. Immediately you get the sense they can do anything and the only limit is your imagination! The shop is clean, smells inviting, and is like stepping into a design dream world just off this busy street. The photos of Teresa's other passion - landscape design - adorn the walls. Gorgeous. Plus, she was pleasant, helpful and finished my job early! At the end of the day, she and her husband and co-owner Al (the architect) were there waiting for me. They had my job beautifully displayed for my inspection, and I fell in love. Teresa and Al are the type of business owners you want to work with over and over. Their warmth and genuine pride in their work exudes from their heart. You feel like someone in your family just went the extra step to make sure you are pleased with your requested work, job or project and on time! I know I'm not alone. They were on their way to see a customer's building at CSULA because of the sense of connection created from the model they designed for the customer in the process. I can't say enough good things about this company. I called or wrote back and forth with at least 5 other businesses in the area before choosing them just based on their customer service in our interactions. I'm so happy I did. When I give my hard working staff their 2016 performance awards on Monday, I'm going to feel like Teresa and Al are there with me to say thank you for a job well done. Josh contacted me a few hours after drop off with a proof of the design in case I wanted any edits. I suggested a sizing edit and orientation edit and he was able to execute the changes perfectly. Terrible experience with this shop. They engraved my medal, but the engraving was clearly crooked…read more My husband picked it up and didn't notice until he got home to show me, but as a creative director and graphic designer by trade, I could easily tell. I mocked it up in the attached photo (the red lines are all parallel to each other and shown in comparison to the date on the medal). When I called to let the shop know, the man who did the engraving immediately denied that it was crooked without even seeing it. I explained that it was, but he continued to rudely and defensively insist otherwise. His tone was combative and dismissive, and at one point he even said, "Well, what do you want me to do about it??" To make matters worse, he ended the call by saying, "Well, have your husband come back for his $30 then. All this for just $30," in a condescending and dismissive tone, as if the issue wasn't worth his time or care. My husband did end up going back to the shop after my call, and he said that the man and his partner were both doubling down and insisting that the engraving was straight. They even asked two other people waiting in the shop what they thought, and both confirmed that the engraving was indeed crooked! We did get our money back, but in the end, they continued to disagree with my husband, never admitted the engraving was off, and never apologized -- even after others confirmed the crooked work too. Our issue is more with the fact that they were completely unprofessional and unwilling to take any accountability, which is especially disappointing given that this was an irreplaceable, once-in-a-lifetime medal. I would never trust this shop with anything meaningful or sentimental. If you have anything precious or irreplaceable that you need engraved, do not take it here. I was fooled by all the good reviews, and while I can't go back in time to fix it, I'm hoping this review spares someone else the same headache and regret.
