It's easy to get to, right off 75/Central and easy parking. Kristin is the master barber...to be honest I started with her back when she was with one of the big business men's salons (think the Gent's Place, Boardroom, etc). She was one of the best barbers in the shop and when she was out or unavailable...the service and cut was lacking....so when she left to start Cheveux....after a couple problems with her back ups...I had to bail and follow her. I am not sorry at all! When you go, you have to do the Experience ....perfect cut, shampoo, hand treatment, face treatment, and totally relaxing vibes....age offers memberships and why not?? It's a nice break from the real world and you walk out feeling good and looking sharp. So the REAL reason you need to go here is that she gives an amazing cut...and she actual cares about how it looks....after a couple cuts with her you'll see what I mean...she's passionate about her job and if you're not happy...she's truly not happy. She also has all the modern amenities here...online scheduling, text reminders....and she's VERY responsive if you need to alter an appointment or something comes up...she's real and knows that stuff happens...she's great to schedule with. Then I looked online and people said it could turn green. So I shared on fb and a friend told me to check out Pascale. I looked at her Yelp reviews and saw the great one from Taylor C. about color correction. So first thing Tuesday I called. After hearing about the tragedy of my hair Pascale said she could get me in today (Wed). I figured if she couldn't fix it I would just cut it off and start over. Thankfully that didn't have to happen. First off, her salon suite is clean, decorated adorably, and she is so welcoming and personable. She expressed that she likes the challenge of color correction but that mine was some of the worst she's seen (story of my life). Needless to say, she gave me suggestions of what she could do. She did an AMAZING job. She restored me back to a great base color then added the highlights and lowlights I wanted. I LOVE my hair now. Love it! Pascale is my hair person from now on. So thankful I found her and will look forward to seeing what she does next time.

This was my first time at a Madison reed location and booked a root touch up appt with the $60 deal…read morefor first time customers. I sat down for a consult and went thru what color, if my greys were stubborn etc. The stylist mentioned my roots were longer then the typical 1-2 inches they do for a root touch up, but that was all that was said and then she said "let's get started!". At checkout, I included a 20% tip but my total was not adding up correctly so I mentioned it to the lady at the desk and she said "they took the $20 off". Was in a rush, so left. When I got home I noticed that they charged me $15 extra color surcharge. Why wouldn't they have mentioned that during the consult? The other deal they had was for all over color for $92 - I would have just asked for that. I called the following day and they basically told me "sorry. They should have told you before but there's nothing we can do. This will get sent to management for feedback but we're sorry." Services + costs should be mentioned prior to the service. This is poor customer service. Also, my forehead has dye stains that were never removed by the washer.. As a result of this review and reaching out to the email below, they refunded the $15 so I increased the stars as I appreciate a quick response.
