I've had the pleasure of working with Tiffany on a few different occasions now. The first time I worked with Tiffany was for my college graduation pictures, she did an amazing job! We met at her studio which has a very comfortable and inviting feeling. She was very relaxed and put me at ease which helped with all the nervousness and butterflies I was getting because of the photo shoot. She was able to do exactly what I wanted and more! I reached out to Tiffany months later when I needed some tips for my daughters Halloween makeup. She went from a scary clown when I applied her makeup to an amazing little maleficent. Tiffany was able to get my wiggly little 3 year old in and out in no time and on our way to Trick or Treating. I was excited when I was able to book Tiffany for my wedding in May. I had her do my mothers, my maid of honor and my makeup. I also had her for hair and light makeup for my two daughters. She brought along one assistant and she was great! I got a spray tan right before the wedding and Tiffany was able to adjust to match the color of my skin perfectly. The morning of the wedding she was on time and ready to get started. She was amazing to work with. Great knowledge and quick tips as she was applying our make up. I told her what I liked and she nailed it on the head. Not to mention the great eye lashes she applied flawlessly! We had a separate girl do our hair while Tiffany applied our make up. Tiffany does not just put product on you she creates a product designed just for you & educates you about her technique as she goes so you know just what to expect but could never create on your own. She spares no expense on the products she uses making her prices very reasonable. Aside from her true talent she is a wonderful person to be around. My wife enjoyed her time with Tiffany so much we ended up inviting her & her husband to the wedding because she has such a great personality we knew she would fit right in with our friends and family. I unfortunately had a very different experience with Tiffany than other reviewers. Tiffany was referred to me for my wedding makeup by my photographer and I really regret using her. I purchased a big package and treated all my bridesmaids, my mom, mother-in-law, and husbands grandmother to hair and makeup the morning of my wedding. It was a mess. To begin, I had a trial hair and makeup session about a month before my wedding and absolutely hated the way I looked. I kept pointing out what I liked and didn't like, but no real improvements were made. I left and literally cried on the way home because I hated how I looked, but felt stuck because I had already paid a $500 deposit. So I wrote her a long email and explained what I didn't like and provided more pictures of what I was looking for. She wrote me back a sweet reply so I was hopeful that it had just been a miscommunication. The morning of the wedding rolled around. My husband and I got married in his grandmothers backyard, so the girls got ready in her large master bathroom and bedroom. Tiffany showed up with 3 other hair and makeup artists, having not alerted me to the fact that there would actually be 4 instead of the 2 that we had previously planned on. There wasn't room for 4 plus all the girls getting ready, so it was hot and crammed, which made everyone stressed out and cranky. I also didn't appreciate that she brought a male hair and makeup artist without having made sure we were all comfortable with that because we weren't. Had I known there would be 2 extra people, I would've decided to get ready at our hotel instead. I also would've reminded her that I asked for all female hair and makeup artists (maybe I'm too traditional, but it made me and my grandmother-in-law uncomfortable). Then, despite the fact that there were 2 extra people doing hair and makeup, they ran over an hour behind schedule because they worked extremely slowly and the 3 backup artists had to ask Tiffany how to do everything, what colors to use, etc. I don't think any of them, including Tiffany, were licensed cosmetologists. I scheduled in 5 hours for hair and makeup (per Tiffany) and it took almost 7. They did my hair and makeup last so I felt really rushed and also had to get into my dress really quickly, which made me miss out on some photos and moments I really, really wanted. Finally and most importantly, I HATED my hair and makeup! She did it exactly the same way as the trial run and it looked terrible. My husband and I joke about how much more pale my face looks than my arms and body in all our wedding pics because she didn't use the right shade of foundation. I, and all of my bridesmaids, ended up redoing and/or adding way more makeup after they were done. None of us were at all happy with how we looked. It was very disappointing, especially because I had treated everyone to what was supposed to be a really special morning for us. And all of our hair fell and got frizzy during the ceremony so by the end of the reception, it was like we hadn't even had it done in the first place. Basically I paid $2k+ to be stressed out, irritated, and frantically correct my own makeup minutes before I walked down the aisle. I highly do not recommend using Tiffany for your wedding. She honestly ruined the morning of my wedding and even now looking back, I really didn't have any moments of feeling like a beautiful bride because I hated my hair and makeup and that's not something I can ever get back or redo differently. read more
