Heather is fantastic! She recently did the hair for my mom and two bridesmaids at my wedding. When arranging this, Heather was easy to message with and coordinate details- styles, location, pricing, etc. and she checked in with me a week before to confirm everything which was such great peace of mind. Being that I am in San Francisco and had a Evergreen Lodge wedding, this ease of coordination was key. The day of, she showed up on time with all of her tools and totally flexible to be set up in our little cabin bathroom. The styles ranged from my mom getting more body in her short hair cut to a beautiful curled and half up braided dew for my long-haired friend. The best part though? Heather fit right in with all of us and felt like an instant friend. Having someone there who is so easygoing but taking their job seriously is SO KEY to a smooth wedding! I researched and found Heather on Yelp and decided to give her a try based on her stellar reviews and 5 star rating. She promptly responded to my text and we set up an appointment. I've been seeing Heather on a regular basis for almost a year now and I'm so happy I found her. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a talented and incredibly nice hairstylist to give Heather a call! I reached out to Heather when I needed someone to lighten up and trim my hair 2 weeks before my wedding. She made my hair look very natural and beautiful, I couldn't be happier. She worked with me to get me in knowing I was on a time crunch and only had 2 weeks before my wedding. I even scheduled an appointment for my mom in that time frame and my mom LOVES her hair too. Heather was so incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. She answered all my questions and gave me lots of styling tips. Heather is THE ONE. Flew in from Chicago and knew I had to see her after hearing so many good things - so incredibly thankful that she fit me in. In Chicago I frequented salons that charged as much as $300 for just a haircut. These 'high-end' salons repeatedly told me that it was useless trying to get my hair to look the way I wanted in one sitting and even if I did, it would ruin my hair's integrity. Not only did Heather prove them wrong, but my hair feels healthier now than it did before! Might be partially due to the Olaplex. I still am amazed at Heather's patience, skill and talent. Heather went above and beyond to create the perfect up-do carefully and beautifully constructed around a handmade floral crown provided by a close family-friend. Our wedding was a 2-day weekend away with guests staying on-site spread across multiple cabins. Heather was incredibly kind and patient as she worked on the wedding party in a cabin that had become a thorough way for rambunctious kids, curious family members, close friends, and unexpected visitors until they were all tossed out for the bride's hair! My main concern was ensuring the crown would stay in place the entire night and it did so! I have a hard time trusting people with coloring my hair. And I found Heather about a month ago and I have gotten my hair done 2 times since then. I recently just got my hair done. The first time I went in to get my hair done she was very understanding and did exactly what I wanted and she fixed my hair because it had bleed lines. She takes her time and doesn't rush with your hair. The last time I got my hair done recently she did a touch up and I decided to chop my hair off, I'm so glad and thankful to have found someone so sweet and loving like Heather to do my hair! On a whim I decided I wanted to get my hair highlighted and cut. I called Heather and she told me they she could fit me in as soon as I drove down. Heather did an amazing job including using a non bleach highlighter for my hair that turned out natural and perfect! Not only is she a perfectionist when it comes to cutting hair but she also offered to curl my hair once she was done blow drying it. I will recommend her to all my friends and family! I contacted Heather through Yelp and received a response back within minutes. Was able to make an appointment for a root touch-up and highlights within the next week. This was my first time for highlights and I wanted them done very subtle and she did them exactly as I had hoped. I'm super happy with my hair.
