Love the theme parties here. Went to all white and black attire party. As well as some business selling events for small business owners. Both parties were amazing and I enjoyed finding new small businesses to support. There are always vendors selling food at their events. You will get to meet new friends and bring your current friends. The service is fast and servers are polite. They do have VIP sections available to purchase. Sometimes they have the ring light setup which is nice for creating your own video. Street parking is available however I highly recommend uber there. Unless in walking distance. This was my first time visiting this space! It is much bigger than it looks from the outside. I attended the Rock 4 Justice music event and it was so much fun! There is full bar service and tall tables to stand around. There were also some lounge areas in the back. Definitely worth going to if there's an event. read more

Great space for events right by my work. I didn't know about this spot till I was invited to this gala fundraiser. Not too many photos of the space but there's a large space for main event, bar on the side wall, another kiosk area on the other side to set up second bar or a sales table. The entrance is inconspicuous so for an event I'd suggest having a banner or a sign outside to let people know it's there. It'd help if there was a "red carpet" or a doorman to welcome you in. Once inside you here's a ticketing booth for checking people in. Behind the ticketing area is a smaller area where you can set up the buffet/food set up. The event I went to had their people cleaning up the plates which makes me think there sent a kitchen there. If you're planning a catered event, you'd need to think through the servers and bus people. Having the food clean up where everyone can see (or having guests bring the plates back) may not be suitable for an upscale event and will need to be carefully planned out. The stage is large and there are two large screens on both sides to showcase presentations. They have a decent sound system that I could hear the mic and the entertainer well. I'd say this is a great spot for an event in town. Caviat: lack of parking. Only street so there's really nothing you can do about it unless you have a shuttle service. Phi Beta Sigma held their 6th annual fundraiser. Surprisingly, street parking was not an issue. The line to get in was fairly long and we were thanked for our patience while the previous party vacated.....they were behind schedule. Walking in with my girlfriends, we noted the cleanliness and organization. They have a really nice setup and pretty general decor. We were escorted to our seats in the back and pleasantly surprised with how clean the couch and table was. We sincerely appreciated the clean space, proper ventilation, and friendly staff. Oh, and the sound system was clear, that's important LOL bless the security guys too for keeping us safe....double checking props on Nick Fury too! You nailed it D! The part that wasn't so clean was the restroom. Yes, the large individual restroom is appreciated but the water all over the floor is a serious safety hazard and sanitation concern. Came here for my friend's bday on a Saturday night. They advertised an "electric/edm" vibe. I went there around 11pm, there was no valet, no lines, maybe less than 40-50 people. I didn't also get the edm feel except for the ladies who works there wearing "blue wigs". I parked 2 blocks away near Moku's/Starbucks (i hate side street parking). There's a lot of vip couches (pretty big for a party) that are comfortable. The girl assisting us on the VIP didn't even wait for the celebrant even when we told her and just lit the sparkles right away (sad). There's only a couple of people dancing and mostly doing "break-dancing" with LED on their shoes, and fingers. I love the big long bar.. (maybe coz the club was half-empty) so we get our drinks quick. They also have their own fruity ladies drink which was delish. The restrooms are cool with individual doors.. (that was a nice touch). Overall, its a great huge space with a lot of potentials for events like weddings/private stuff but as for club scene - not yet for me. read more

I finally found a club where I can be free and enjoy myself! This club isn't packed as much which I prefer and they play really good EDM music which I love! My friend recommended this place to me and I was like "let's give it a shot". I've been always looking for a club where it's not filled with people and have good bottle service. A lot of local DJs come here a d play their music and I gotta say it's really good stuff. I come here every Saturday night to hang with friends and drink! I enjoy the music and lights they have! Its interesting to look at and when you feel great you can dance and shuffle since theres so much room for you to dance! They drinks are great as well! Not pricey like other places are! It is a $10 entrance fee but if you are on the guest list than you can get in for free! To be honest it's worth the $10 to get in! The service here are great! The bartenders can make any drinks you want! If they dont know the drink then just show them the recipe or tell them and they can make it for you! Good service and I love it! I come here like a lot so everyone knows me which makes me feel happy and meeting the manager of the promotion team made me felt happy! He welcomed me to artistry and talk stories about this place! He's a really nice and caring guy! He enjoys what he does and lives up to it! If I remember correctly his name was Whoop! Cool name by the way :D This club is open from 10pm-4am Friday and Saturday only. It's worth coming for because they have great DJs! They also hold events here like Tokyo Machine! We had a baby shower here at Artistry! Yes you heard me a baby shower for my niece Jordan. It's actually a nightclub but you can they do rent it out for parties. They set up the tables and chairs and already have the audio equipment and the stage. Big area for the party and they even provide the security and valet parking. If you are doing a party that includes alcohol then you should call Artistry! They can give you the details about the cost and how they charge with the bar! Really nice to be with family again! I attended a private event at the Artistry and was impressed with the space as an event venue. It's quite spacious with a lot of options for small groups to break out from the larger one with lots of seating choice arrangements. At this event there was easy curb side valet parking, two check in counters and a photo opportunity right inside the entrance. The buffet was served in a room off of the check in desk. And the main room with the stage was set up in long tables in rows. The bar staff was pleasant and attentive. While there was only one bar set up, it looks like there are 2 other options as well. I wasn't impressed with the dated look of the bars or with the liquor selection, but that could change with the event, I suppose. I did like how the women's rooms were individual and clean. I think there were 3 of them. Overall, if I were to host an event in town, I'd consider the Artistry. It seems like it would lend itself to a number of options that could work for various occasions. We came here for the first time for a Pac 5 Fundraising event. The overall environment was great. We were in the Diamond Head Room, which was a little less noisy, more private, and away from all the craziness that was going on. The place was clean, the wait help was quick to come and clean up rubbish as needed. The bathrooms were clean and had all the necessary essentials. There were several hundred there and there was never a line for the bathroom. A totally awesome venue for a party, fundraiser or just a night out with friends. I'd totally visit this place again for another event. If you ever have the opportunity to attend an event here, please do so. You will be pleasantly pleased. Coordinated a corporate event here for a party of 50+ guests. This review will focus on private event planning (since Artistry is also an open evening lounge). This is a great place to rent out for large corporate parties (100+), reunions, and graduation parties. Just make sure to plan ahead: reserve a date and start looking into vendors to add the life to the party! This is a great place if you want an open area you can easily customize and decorate. I highly recommend you take a walk-through tour before booking a buy-out/private party so you are able to see the space you are working with. The venue does not have a kitchen, large tables/chairs, food but they do have connections to vendors that provide catering, equipment rentals, etc. There is basic equipment included: wireless mics, sound system, lighting for the stage along with the ability to use the projector screens on the walls. We had a custom slideshow of photos playing throughout the evening! However, we did have to rent our own sound system for the band to play at our event. While parking isn't the greatest, they do provide a flat rate valet service and there is some street parking if you are lucky. Burt was easy to work with and the staff was friendly, attentive worked hard to make sure this was a smooth event. I'm a fan and would plan another event here. read more

Got the chance to check out Artistry Honolulu on their opening night. Valet parking was available for $5 which is a great deal especially since fighting the Pokemon crowd for parking in Kakaako can be a nightmare. From the outside, it didn't look like much but once you step inside its actually extremely spacious. Upon entering there is a lounge area located to the right with couches and a small bar. The main room houses another lounge area (I believe you have to purchase bottle service for use) with couches and security. There's a stage area which I got to watch Jay Sean perform on that night along with a full bar and a few Bar tables (standing only). There are 4 women's restrooms in the hallway and a men's restroom outside lounge area. Lines were pretty long but moved pretty quickly. All in all, I enjoyed my night out at the Grand opening. The new Artistry Honolulu may just be my new go to place for drinks, dancing and a lot of fun! Haven't checked them out yet? Whatcha waiting for?!! read more

I helped plan an event here for an organization I'm with, and we were extremely happy with how everything turned out. First and foremost, Burt the general manager is amazing - can't beat his service. He goes above and beyond what you ask for, and even helps to promote your event. I like that you can cater your own food, and as long as you hit a minimum in bar sales, the event space is covered. There is a large stage area so you can have a band or entertainment. Artistry has all the hookups and sound system to do this. The event space is very large, and can fit a few hundred guests. There are multiples areas/rooms you can utilize for a silent auction, VIP area, etc. I will def be willing to plan another event and work with Burt again! read more

We came here for an event. The actual event was ok. The venue was clean. Large dancefloor and another, more intimate one on the other side. Ok. I have five stars because the staff was excellent. I went with a friend that had been drinking too much. They were even nice while kicking him out. The bartender was very friendly and acted accordingly and responsibly. The bouncer was VERY patient. Too patient actually. I told him to "just sleep um" but he stood there as my drunk friend continued shoving him. He didn't even narc when my other friend was helping him in the grass across the corner as the cops rolled by. They turned a crazy, disastrous night into a pretty uneventful one. Class. read more

Came here for my high school reunion. I didn't deal directly with the planning and everything so I can't speak for the staff and service. However, I would say that the location isn't my favorite. Parking was really interesting. Like I said, I came for an event and was told to valet park my car. I can't remember how much it was, but they were right outside the doors. When I came out of the event, I saw that my car was parked right across the street in one of the metered parking stalls. Do you mean that I could have just parked there for free? Bummer. I know this might have nothing to do with the venue itself, but I was disappointed with that. The venue itself was big enough for our reunion and seemed to have good service. I was made to think that it was a big and kind of upscale place, but it's more down to earth. It's a gathering place and that was good for what we needed. Went Friday night and the DJ was slamming. Great 90s throwback night. Drink prices are reasonable and the staff was super friendly. A $10 cover was not bad for the atmosphere and size of the venue. People have said in other reviews that parking was hard to find but, we got there a little after 10 and had no issues. As others have said they do have valet parking for $7.00. The only drawback is that they don't serve food in house but they did have a local company that was selling meals. The food was good but heavy. Would love to see more appetizer type foods rather than a heavy meal to go with the drinks and dancing. read more

What a surprisingly great venue in Kaka'ako! I came here for my friend's belly dance fundraising event. It's a huge space with a bar to one end, a small stage and lots of floor space. For this event, the floor space was filled with seats to watch the show. After the event, the chairs were removed to make space for a dance floor. There was a VIP lounge area in the back that was swanky. Nice mood lighting back there. Next to that area was a room with doors - the event used this for a sale. There's also a huge private room near the entrance to the side. I didn't find that out until after the event. There's an atm around that area as well. And to top it off, women get individual restrooms - 4 of them. Yeah. I know. It was great. I can see why the venue is called Artistry...there were a lot of inspirational ethnic art hanging by the bar area. Good vibe for the belly dancing performance. It looks like this venue is rented out for private events. I checked their website and saw there were two small concerts that had been held here. I never even got word that these concerts happened. I think if there was more marketing for this venue, it would be a popular joint. read more

I planned an event using this venue for work. First off, Thank you to Burt, the manager, for making the experience easy and painless. I had a bunch of questions leading up to the event and Burt was responsive, very professional and super easy to work with. Even with the adversity of the night, he was cool and willing to find solutions. I love Kakaako and the vibe it has so this was an easy choice to have it at. I like that there was a choice to have valet available for a fee because sometimes it can be a challenge to find parking there. The house DJ was awesome! Garrett was super professional and played a great set! The venue is super versatile with all the elements it has to offer: different variations of set up, super helpful staff, great responsiveness to ensuring a great event, and a great location in town. Attended an event at Artistry a few weeks ago with some colleagues. We were absolutely blessed to have Jasey (Frasco I believe was her last name) as our cocktail waitress, who made our experience more enjoyable by ten fold. She was very personable and excited throughout the entire night and kept our drinks flowing. Her knowledge of the cocktails that she served was impeccable and we adored every interaction we had with her. If you do get the chance to go check out any of Artistry's events, I hope you are graced with Jasey's presence and lovely smile :) read more

This was my first time here for a fundraiser for my daughters volleyball club. There's very limited street parking but artistry Honolulu provided valet parking for a small fee! I'm always down for valet! It is a big open venue with a few separate rooms. It has a stage, a section for your food ( that you have to bring in) and a full bar. Although it was a pretty big place, there was such a good turn out that it was crowded! Not sure about prices or other small details but it seems like a pretty good place to have an event. read more

We had scheduled a walk through with Burt, the General Manager, and he didn't even show up. I even reconfirmed the date and time ans he responded accordingly that he would be there.I waited an hour for him and no contact was made. I tried getting in touch and nothing. I didn't get any apology from them or even a courtesy call/email from them stating that they were not able to make this. Now I am coming from Kapolei, so I drove down here for absolutely nothing. I was livid. This is simply the most unprofessional experience I have had with any type of situation like this. I do not recommend using this venue for any private event. You are better off dealing with professionals that show up on time and ready to assist you with your event needs. We have a huge class reunion that we are planning for, so they lost a huge profit from us. Considering Artistry is still trying to make a name for itself, you are a huge disappointment. read more
