Writing this review from inside the bar right now. It's a Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. The place opens at 10PM and goes until 4Am. Had a drink with my wife downstairs at the Pupu House before coming up here and enjoyed the drinks. Prices were $6-10 down in the Pupu House. We headed up at 11 and the place is very dead. NO COVER CHARGE at least at the time/day when we came. There are 6 of us right now. The prices of drinks upstairs are a little more but still reasonable ~$13 a drink. Still WAY better than some other places around the area. Even on this Tuesday, they have a DJ playing some great tunes. The dance floor is dead but we're about to see if we can start some dancing. Definitely loud music. Lots of TVs. They've got Key & Peel playing on one that's got us laughing. There are a few booths and a "VIP AREA" of cushion sets that are nice. Being one of the only couples here, we helped ourselves to the seating. All-in-all, having a good time. Edit: We ended the night at 12:30 and there were 9 of us on the dance floor. It was a lot of fun for a small crowd. Other people came in and out. We think they maybe wanted a larger night club but it was great for a middle of the week, small dance floor kind of night. read more

Bouncers were rude. My husband went downstairs to meet my friends. We had been there for 2 hrs already, my husband let the bouncers know he was meeting our friends and they would not let my husband back in without a cover. They told my friends they cursed at the bouncer the day prior when it was our first night in Hawaii. Be careful bouncers were rude and aggressive. Floor is sticky. DJ is mid. They charge for water. Great Waikiki tiki bar Hawaiian themed place in Waikiki. It's upstairs from The Pupu House. Nightclub with dance floor and spinning records from a cool DJ.....hmmmm this place looks familiar....Ah ha!!! It's the old Moose McGillicuddy's night club we used to party at in the 90's!!!!! For food, go downstairs for some delicious pupu's, better service down there too. This place is disgusting. The floor was wet and slippery and the entire place was packed such that you couldn't move. Besides that, they have some weird shady going on - the bouncer intentionally separated me and my gf (as in let her in and didn't let me in) and then when I got up to the dance floor one of the employees was trying to buy my gf a drink. Came here Halloween night, they were charging $20 entrance fee and $40 to skip the line, a few of my friends had skip the line and a few of us went across the street, 30 minuets later we went back and I approached the front where they were taking payments. I wanted to ask if they were still charging $40 to skip the line. Before I could even say anything both girls were telling me to leave the front and waving me off. I was caught by surprise. I told them I only wanted to ask a question and that they didn't need to have such an attitude. I walked away and grabbed my phone to take a photo of them to post on here. I have never been treated that way at any establishment. It was shocking. I was standing on the Main Street a few feet away from the desk and they motioned to the security to come. The next thing I know, the largest security was standing not even an inch away from me and slaps my phone out of my hands. THIS IS ILLEGAL! I wasn't harassing them, I wasn't in their face, I took 2 photos and I didn't say anything. I picked my phone up to take a photo of him as well and he did the same thing AGAIN. My boyfriend, not paying attention, saw my phone on the ground and picked it up. The largest security then approached him aggressively trying to fight him. This is crazy! This is an establishment! He is supposed to be keeping club goers safe! Instead he's trying to pick a flight with someone half his size over a photo being taken from the street. This security is probably over 300 lbs. I should have gotten the police involved, what if my phone had broken. Thank goodness for my protective case. This is not the first time I've been to this club. I've never had a problem before, then again, I've never seen these particular low life's working. I will never go back unless it's to file a police report. This was unacceptable, if I could rate this place 0 stars I would. GET NEW STAFF! I'd also like to add, I wasn't able to get a photo of the larger (300+lbs) security who harassed me because he kept slapping my phone out of my hand. Be careful!! Me and my girlfriend got spiked here. Had 1 and a half drinks when I saw my gf start to suddenly stumble. I got her home quickly and then it hit me. Neither of us could talk or walk. It's great that Mooses has a replacement now, and I can't think of anyone better to run it then Uncle Bo's. All of the same food from the flagship restaurant seems to be on the menu. They've done a nice job remodeling, and the upstairs Kikis tiki bar area looks much cleaner, almost to clean. We'll see how long it stays that way. It's only just recently opened, but it seems like it will have a good volume of customers. There is no cover on Saturday night but I think that may just be a temporary thing. It looks like it's only going to be open on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and I'm really hoping they bring back a dollar to three dollar drink night, or something cheap that will bring in a lot of business. The old Mooses had a dollar drink night and it was epic and a lot of fun. I'm really hoping they do good business, since Waikiki needs much better night life than the crap show that is Kelly's across the street after midnight. #firstreview! read more

The bouncers do not know how to check IDS. I was let in last night with the ID I used, and the next day I was turned away from the same bouncer that let me in the night before.. They let 18 year olds with fake IDS in there no issue. I am 22 years old and yet they lack training and knowledge of knowing how to verify an ID. Bouncers were extremely rude and do not know what they are talking about. They need a scanner on property to make sure the IDS are real... They need to not threaten to take away PAYING CUSTOMERS real IDS. If you come here be prepared to play the 20 questions game and almost get your REAL ID taken away from you by the unintelligent. Such a fun place and a great vibe to be around! I was surprised to see all ages which makes it more inclusive since I've been to bars like Kelly's and they'll only have one age group. The music is super fun too it's a mix of hip hop and house music which is a nice change. Overall love the vibe and the hostess at the front was super helpful and super welcoming.
