Pinot's Palette - Fun Times at Pinot's Palette, Summit

This location and ambiance…read moreare perfect, making it a great spot for a girl's night, date night, birthday celebration , or just to vibe out on your own. You really don't need to come with anyone to have a good time here. Trust me. We booked a 3 p.m. session online, and it was a 10/10 experience. Our instructor, Dalton, was full of energy, super friendly, funny and explained everything perfectly, making the painting process enjoyable! He also played music throughout the class, and his playlist was a hit! It really set the mood and made the experience even more fun. One of the best parts? You can bring your own food, drinks, and even wine! They provide wine glasses, plates, and cups for convenience, and if you forget something to drink, they sell sodas in the back. Plus, there's a store directly across the street where you can purchase a bottle of wine if that's your thing. The class lasted a little over two hours, giving us plenty of time to enjoy and create. Parking on a Sunday was easy with plenty of street parking, but I can see it getting busier during peak hours. Overall, Pinot's Palette is more than just a painting class--it's a whole experience! Even if you think you can't paint or draw, trust me, you can. Just go for it!

We did a weekend evening class, had assigned seats with our group, and were able to BYO whatever we wanted to drink (and they provided the wine glasses!). The class was fun, and set to some fun music, and the instruction (while fast paced) still offered opportunities to ask questions and seek help. Would recommend!

The atmosphere and decor was amazing. It was so cute!Luis the head painter and our host was incredible. I thought we were going to maybe be tracing the image onto the canvas (as I have done that in previous paint studios) and we did not. We did everything free hand and he was an excellent teacher and was very helpful. There were several times where I thought I had ruined my painting and he helped me fix little mistakes which just added character and made it unique. There was an awesome playlist going the whole time that kept us excited and signing along (I wish I had a copy of it). I encourage everyone to try this place out and support this new business! I can't wait to go back.

They were very clear on instructions in the beginning, and offered support to everyone throughout the experience. While painting, they put on some great music and offered us some light refreshments. My mom and I ended up becoming so focused on our painting, but really appreciated the ambiance and enthusiasm from the team. Once we were done and ready to go, the ladies offered to take the cutest pictures of us with our finished paintings! My mom and I never had an experience like this and we honestly can't wait to go back! From what I remember, this place offers the opportunity to book private events with your friends/family, and do much more than just painting canvases (although I had a great time doing this!!). They also offer the opportunity to paint sneakers, tote bags, do tie dye, etc. for such a good price per person! I would 1000% recommend calling this place up and looking into what they offer + the pricing as we were amazed at the options they had. Thank you again for the experience and accommodating us!!:)

When we arrived for the 6:15 PM session, the instructor told us there was no space available and instructed us to come back at 7:30 PM. We specifically asked about our 6:15 tickets, and we were told they would be honored at the 7:30 PM session. When we returned at 7:30 PM, we were treated very rudely and told that they could not accommodate us. What was even more frustrating was seeing that they were allowing people in who did not have tickets at all, while refusing to honor the tickets we had already purchased and were specifically told would be honored at 7:30. We came expecting to have a fun girls' night and instead spent the evening dealing with poor communication, disorganization, and extremely disappointing customer service. If you have tickets for specific time slots, your customers should be able to rely on those tickets. And if your staff tells customers to return at another time and promises their tickets will be honored, that promise should be kept. I would not recommend Paint Noir Art Lounge, and after this experience, I will not be supporting this business again.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT have your kids party here! Rachel…read moreleft a very negative impression on at least half of the kids that attended. She is not well suited to for dealing with children, especially those who are creative and think outside the box. When the first kid arrived, she literally tried to send the parent away with "I want the parents to be gone so I can establish my authority" meanwhile the kids go to a special school for behavioral issues. After some words, she finally agreed to have the parents stay but in the back, out of line of sight of the kids. Her tone of voice reflected her totalitarian approach. Multiple kids came to talk to their parents about how mean the teacher was. I understand wrangling kids who are neural divergent can be a challenge, but there is a impactful difference between setting appropriate boundaries vs "Rule with an iron fist" smack downs. The parents can hear how she was treating the kids from the back, no wonder why she wanted them to drop and leave. One of our neighbors had a much younger kid, who stayed in the same room with the kids the whole time, told us Rachel yelled "Shut Up" several times at the kids. I regret having exposed these vulnerable children to someone who is clearly discriminatory. Please learn from my mistake, save your kids from Rachel! If you want a good place with much more talented teachers, go to ArteVino in Milburn instead, so much more friendly, and less stingy about materials. I'm not affiliated with them in anyway, other than us having a kids party there 2 years ago, just wish I went there this time also instead; lessons learned!
