She is learning things, making friends, talking about her day with excitement, talking about her friends, and the activities she did. The staff, from the director to the teachers, are responsive and detail-oriented. I receive weekly update on the learning plan and menu. Before the pandemic, there were several events where parents can get involved, for some you can meet other parents. Now that we are in the pandemic, they have cancelled all the in-person events for parents and established stricter protocols in the center regarding drop-off and pick-ups, and parents cannot go pass the front desk anymore. I am actually fine with the protocols as long as they can keep the virus at bay, and they have. In conclusion, I would recommend this center to any parents! The hard lesson I learned during the pandemic is that a reliable daycare is absolutely key to the parents. Parents not only need time to work, they also need to know their kids are safe. My child is fully potty trained, rarely had accident at home or at previous childcare. When there's a problem they will try to avoid & keep pushing back, you'll likely to not get answer from them for months. They keep changing employees too

Just like most new moms, I was very nervous leaving my baby and going back to work but the Goddard staff made us so comfortable from the beginning by providing kind, supportive, educated communication. The owner, Shauna, and the entire administrative staff are fantastic. Very hands on and with great communication, always open to answering questions and providing updates. The teachers in the infant class are caring, loving and provide a safe environment for babies to grow and explore. My son moved from the infants to toddler room a few months ago and the teachers in toddler class (Squirrels) are just as amazing. They do such a great job of taking care of the kids, teaching them, making connection with them and making sure they have fun. We were amazed when my son started doing sign language to communicate and it seems like he is learning something new everyday. He loves going to school and he loves his teachers, and enjoys the wide range of activities specially music class and going out. It has been an incredible journey for us to see him grow and learn new things and we owe it to the fantastic team at Goddard. On top of wonderful people, the curriculum and activities are so good for her! To be fair, my daughter's teacher was fabulous, so there may be hope should you decide to place your children here. My son's teacher was (IMO) horrid! To start with, she is a mother who has a nanny take care of her children so she can work at the school. I find that incredibly odd. I cannot see how a preschool teachers salary can be valuable enough to offset the cost of a full-time nanny. At any rate - our son was overheard using a "potty word" and the school let us know. We disciplined him, told him it was inappropriate, etc. Well, a few weeks later, the school called my wife and I in to have a meeting. They stated in the meeting that another 5 year old heard our sone say the "F" word. The teacher questioned my son, and cohersed him into admitting he did say a bad word. ((side note - during the entire meeting, the teacher did not speak, make eye contact, or engage in the meeting. We were speaking to the director and the associate pastor of the church.)) The staff went on to explain that bad words were not acceptable, and if he were to get a "third strike", the school would expell him. When I asked if the school saw fit to work with a child, and be accepting and forgiving, they said "no" and that bad words were NEVER tolerated and they felt strong in their desire to expell children who use these words. WOW! A christian school that isn't able to forgive, teach and nurture... odd... Furthermore, they stated that our son was in need of a special observation to see "what his issues were". The state would pay for the observation. We declined. We then moved back to Noah's Ark, and immediately saw our son flourish! He loved school, loved the teachers and the teachers loved him. When we asked (many times) if he was "challenging" or "naughty" - the answer was no. Look, I don't want to seem like our kid is bad and we are naive. We have shared this story (in greater detail) with many families and they are all appauled at the schools position. In fact, many of the families are members of this church and were begging us to let them speak to the churches board of directors. Our son never physically threatened another child, never hit, never endangered anyone. He used bad language, twice, and the school felt this was something they could not handle. I find this very odd, as we are PAYING them to teach our kids right from wrong.

Sundance was our kiddo's first daycare after we finished parental leave. He started in the 12-18…read moremonth classroom with Becca and Joss, and is now in the 18-24 month classroom with Miss Vicky and Mr. Ethan. Throughout the 7 months he's been at Sundance, we've been so impressed with the center in general as well as his care. In both classrooms, his teachers were kind, attentive, patient, communicative, and flexible with our many questions and needs as first-time parents. We had a few very specific needs (mostly feeding-related, something we were in OT therapy for) and they were incredibly supportive. We'd discussed these same needs with some of the larger centers and were told they couldn't accommodate. We really appreciate that Sundance puts the best interest of the child above standard policies and procedures.  We toured a lot of daycares during our search, and while Sundance wasn't the newest and didn't offer meals, the teachers take a lot of pride in their curriculum and most importantly, everyone at Sundance treated us like family. (And FWIW, I did eventually see personal meal prep as a benefit as we could control what he was eating and provide him with familiar foods.) I genuinely feel as if they care about our kiddo and for our family. We feel like our toddler really flourished while at Sundance and are genuinely sad for our time there to end as we move him to a center closer to our home.
