The food by Chef Juice, they call him was absolutely 5 stars ! From the best cheeses from around the world hand picked by Capt. Noah and his wife Jane were absolutely fantastic ! They take pride in their appetizers before a wonderful meal ! All the meals are hand made and out of this world ! The trip was almost fog free and we went around many of the Maine islands and had the wonderful lobster bake on Russ island, a favorite of Captain Noah's ! The crew on this trip was absolutely amazing ! They were absolutely spit on with detail and did everything they could to make you feel welcome on such a special schooner cruise. Be prepared for an in-depth conversation with plenty of solid points and questions, if you wish :-) While I could go on, I'll summarize - just book it. Our last sail was up in the air due to weather until the last minute and Dan was totally cool about playing it by ear. Weather broke and we ended up with a perfect late day sail. On the evening cruise we had lobster dinner with corn and salad. They also provided us with a cake to cut and our friends provided the champagne. This was an unforgettable experience to be on this beautiful old boat and to watch the crew work her lines with the expertise of seasoned sailors. Captain Brenda owns the Isaac Evans and does weekly sails typically except during certain events where she does daily sails. The boat is immaculate and kept up to her period of sailing with a few modern modifications Ike the head. The stove is a wood burning stove and the guest quarters are large for a boat. My husband and I will one day come back for a weekly sail with her and the crew. Thank you again guys for the most wonderful wedding a girl could expect.

This was the trip of a lifetime! The captain, Tyler King, knows his boat inside and out and is an incredibly sailor and a wonderful guy! He even read us sailor stories one night and sang and played the guitar to serenade us to sleep! His awesome crew (Elias, Courtney, Lily, and Kate) were phenomenal and helped Tyler sail the ship to perfection! Their enthusiasm and zest for life is infectious! The outstanding cooks, Marty and Quinn, made the most incredible meals every single day, and they were five star! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the American Eagle!! They all catered to our every need and were beyond kind and so much fun! We all just felt like one big family! We also were able to compete in the famous great American schooner race on July 4 and it was spectacular and exciting! What a blast! I could go on and on about this wonderful Trip we took. He sailed us to the Islands of Mattincus , and Monhegan , to east Booth bay and Vinyl Haven , South West harbor , and many new and interesting places. The crew was very well trained and worked great together, on sailing the vessel, and catering to the passengers needs . Then there was the chef and galley hands . They did an excellent job of preparing the meals , and and catering to the passengers, dietary needs . You meet passengers from all over the us, and Canada . Who become family , by trips end . I highly recommend sailing on the Victory Chimes . If you want a unique, relaxing , and satisfying vacation, it's impossible to to beat !
