I called Art Mobile Locksmith. Let me tell you, he is not professional, He came 30 minutes late, I called him couple times while I was waiting, he did not answer. I had to wait for extra 30 minutes, not knowing weather he will show up or not. When he came by, he gave me a look that he was doing me a favor. after two weeks later, the key broke in half. I got charged $120 for garbage key. He would not even guarantee his work. read more

Went to Nevada to check out apartments and stopped by a couple bars in the area to check out the scenery and after a long drooling drive we had our selves a couple drinks and my husband accidently locked our keys in the car and we could see them sitting on our seat we attempted to try n get in but we instead looked on our phones locksmiths in the area we were in and we came across Arts Mobile Locksmith which was perfect! I was passing through Nevada last week and I locked my keys in my car. So I find Art's mobile locksmith on Google and call him to get me in my car. What do you know, no answer. I figured in gardnerville Art was busy as what I thought the only mobile locksmith in town. So I will give him 15 minutes I called again no answer. I start to look for another mobile locksmith when Art himself calls and says he can be out in about 30 minutes for a $100 service fee. I reluctantly agreed and waited. As a half hour approached Art called and said he couldn't be there for another half hour. I made the best of it by munchin on a burger playing angry birds when I look up an hour later( yes Art took 1-1/2 hours for Art to get to me right off the highway. I tell him I locked the keys in my car 2013 Malibu and even show him the keys on the dash. He looks at his clipboard and tells me to wait there( uhh I am locked out, I am not going anywhere until you get me in my car.) He called someone as he walked back to his car and was on the phone with someone. After ignorong me and being twice as long to get to me he says. I need $100 to get you in your car. I am blown away that he has the nerve to ask for money upfront. I reluctantly give him $100 bill and ask him to please open the door, figuring it would take a proffesional no time to open a cheap american car. He scratched up my door for a minute then looks up and tells me "Why didn't you tell me it was 2013? These all have codes from the dealer, I can't open it without the code." I am beside myself and concede this wasn't going to work out and I will call Chevy dealership and have them send their tow truck to open the door. Art apologizes and leaves. I call champion chevy in Reno and they send a kid out that was there quickly and he was no more than 2 minutes to open my door and present my keys. I was finally off 4 hours later and $100 poorer. I think if Art answered his phone the first time and told me he couldn't help, I would have been in and out of Gardnerville soon enough, from then on every time I hear about gardnerville I think of Art and his greedy, business that he treats people in messed up situations like he is doung a favor by wasting your time.
