Jeremy not only replaced the failed logic board in my LiftMaster motor unit, but he provided several pointers on ensuring the future health of my garage door system. Here's one: remove the LED light bulb from your motor unit--the one (or two) that lights up your garage upon activating the opener. LED bulbs give off RF energy (Radio Frequency) which can cause a logic board to fail--like mine!! Replace the LED bulb(s) with CFLs (fluorescent) or old-school incandescent bulbs, if you can find any (try Dollar Store or online). Who knew? read more

I was amazed that he gave me a quote based on what I explained from the minimum repair to the complete replacement of the opener. We had used George and Sons previously. They provided very good service and we have no complaints. That's a great company, but bigger. Today (a Friday) our main door failed and we could not access the car within. We needed access by tomorrow because of issues with grandchildren and car seats. George and Sons was willing to service our door, but could not come out for four days. I called four other places who could not come out either, but Affordable serviced our door the same day and fixed our door within about 30 minutes. The bracket that holds the spring to the header had pulled out, the door crooked, the cables tangled. Clearly, they knew what they were doing, totally expert. Came out within 2 hours, just as he said he would. Was incredibly thorough and friendly. Extremely high service. So back in 2020 we ordered our doors through him and we are now in March of 2022 and we only have one of them and no communication from his end, we have tried to reach out, we have paid him and he has done nothing but continiously blow us off. he had excuse after excuse of why and then finally stopped replying.
