We got 2 standard poodles and was looking for a groomer I was looking for something specific I didn't want a place with all the bells and whistles I wanted a groomer with lots of experience a shop that was just about the animals. 1 time the poodles were only 3 months old they recommend trimming the important areas so the poodles can get used to the blow dryer and clippers but not a complete cut they still had puppy hair. Brought them home I had no issues and the dogs all of a sudden were ok with me brushing them out they were no longer afraid of the brush (thank you arts) so yesterday took them in I am very happy they look beautiful and they are happy they finally were able to get cut no more puppy hair they are now 5 months old

We got 2 standard poodles and was looking for a groomer I was looking for something specific I didn't want a place with all the bells and whistles I wanted a groomer with lots of experience a shop that was just about the animals. 1 time the poodles were only 3 months old they recommend trimming the important areas so the poodles can get used to the blow dryer and clippers but not a complete cut they still had puppy hair. Still 5 stars & I've been taking my dog here for 14 years now. Amazing family that owns this groomer & they always take such loving care of my Coco when she's there. Coco is also disabled with a paralyzed leg/spine issue & they are just amazing with her. Prices are super affordable as well so you really can't beat that plus the quality & care. read more

Of all the groomers I have been to, the folks at Art's are, without a doubt, the best. You can tell when you go in that these folks love animals and treat them right. They spoil my dog when she goes there and it is appreciated. I've been going to them every two weeks for over 4 years now and can't even imagine taking my baby anywhere else. read more

I am really sad to see a bad review on here! My experience today was great! I was charged $40 for hair cut, nail trim, ear cleaning, bath/conditioning, and flea treatment but I opted out on that. I am so happy with the results! I am definitely coming back! read more

I have been bringing my two dogs here for well over a decade. One is a 15 year old terrier mix, and the other is a 10 year old long-haired chihuahua mix. Ginger and Zero have been treated like family, and have always come out looking like a million bucks, but both together only cost a grand total of $100 with tip included. The staff are always sunny and happy. I feel lucky that I have found these caring groomers. My precious dogs, who can be feisty and super disheveled when I bring them in, are extremely lucky too! read more

BEWARE !!Don't waste your time going here! I brought my dog in because of the reviews I read and they are not true. They didn't even trim my dog's nails or do his anal gland's Yuck! That is one of the main reasons I get him groomed. I wasted my money, and the shop is badly in need of remodeling and it is located in a run down strip mall. What a disappointment :( read more

WE LOVE ARTS PET GROOMING!!!! I have been taking my dogs there for literally 17 years!!! first my Sheppard and they LOVED on her and miss her as much as I do! now my Black Lab! they are so loving and thorough. My sister takes her AGGRESSIVE dog there and they accommodate his needs. YES their shop is in an older strip mall but WHO CARES! they are GREAT!!!! I have a rescue dog who has many issues. He was badly abused and cannot be crated. I have taken him to many other groomers and some have asked us not to return. My dog doesn't like water, to be crated, to have his nails trimmed, to have his ears cleaned, to be cut or clipped, and to top it off he doesn't like other dogs or cats. I have been told that he will bite and others could not control him. My dog is a Bichon Mix and needs to be groomed often. I was referred to TeAnn by my Veterinarian and was told to talk to the owner. I called and spoke to Joann. I explained my situation and she immediately had a game plan and for the first time I felt at ease. TeAnn scheduled our appointment at 8am and did not have any other animals scheduled for until 10am. She allowed me to stay in the grooming area and she had calming music playing. TeAnn, and by the way, TeAnn is an exceptional groomer and very kind and loving as well, groomed my dog. They gave my dog so much attention and hugs and kisses and of course treats. Now we come every month and Benji looks forward to his appointment and to spending time with TeAnn and her team. I no longer have to stay. I highly recommend Art's poodle!! you will never find the love and attention at any other groomers. They truly love animals and it shows in the cut and in the way they will love your animal. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Teann K.

I began grooming in 1980 , I had always wanted to do something with dogs as a young girl. When I had the opportunity to learn how to groom I was very excited. I learned from many amazing groomers but the best teacher I had was Flo Tomas master groomer ...she gave me the knowledge And the confident to become the groomer I am today. I worked in two grooming shops in Norwalk California , one for one for two years 1980 to 1982 and then had the opportunity to move on to a new shop in Jan. of 1983 . Some time after working for Cecila Bott at Arts Grooming she informed me she was putting the shop up for sale. I was crushed I loved working with her. I so enjoyed all the baby's that came into the shop and came to love them ... So I spoke with my husband and asked what he thought if I bought the shop ... And well 31 years later here I am . Just as happy as the day I became the owner of Arts Grooming So if you are looking for a family shop come on in , I can't wait to meet you .

Great with puppies...they where patient and gentle. My kids wanted to get a puppy and I didnt because of how much work in the beginning...but you know kids- Ill do everything mom....right... But I caved and we rescued a little puppy that was filthy. I have taken my dog to many different groomers over the last 5 years and have been totally disappointed. I went TeAnn and I was totally blown away. I was greeted and we discussed my concerns and they went over my dog with me in the room. My dog was treated like a star and when I came back to pick him up he didnt want to leave.
