Our girl, Mamba, is 6 years old and a true gentle giant, so we always try to book the first appointment of the day to make sure we can use their largest wash tub. It's the perfect size, and she has no problem climbing in on her own. Honestly, she seems to enjoy bath time here so much more than going to a traditional groomer. She's relaxed, comfortable, and never seems stressed. The staff is one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back. They're always welcoming, patient, and genuinely kind to Mamba. You can tell they love dogs. You wash your pet yourself but they provide all the tools need. If you have a large breed or really any dog and prefer the hands-on experience of washing your pup yourself without the mess at home, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I was very disappointed with my experience. I brought my husky to use the self-service dog wash, but I was turned away simply because my dog sheds a lot. Huskies naturally have thick coats and shed heavily--that's part of the breed. If your business doesn't allow heavy-shedding dogs, that policy should be clearly posted so customers don't waste their time driving over. Turning away responsible pet owners because of a breed's normal coat seems unfair, especially at a facility that's meant for washing dogs. I hope the business considers making its policies clearer and more welcoming to all dog owners in the future. read more

I've been to my fair share of self wash stations from Orange County all the way up to East LA. I have to admit that barks and bubbles is one of the best locations I have ever been to being a pet owner. I have an Australian Shepherd, who is deaf, so it is tough to leave her at a groomers due to not being able to give her a simple command commands. So this often leads to me having to find softball stations in the area to give her a bath. I always look for accessibility with the dog wash stations as well as quality products. It's safe to say that parks and bubbles is hands-down one of the best locations when it comes to dog washing due to having automatic bath risers. It's always very taxing on your back to have to lean down for almost 45 minutes to an hour to give your dog a bath. But barks and bubbles take that out of the equation by allowing you to raise the bathtub as high as you need to give your dog a bath and blow dry. I really enjoy the quality of the products, especially the blueberry face mask, and cologne station on your way out. Barks and bubbles has taken all the work out of bathing your furry loved one. I took my senior dog Charlie to Barks & Bubbles this past week to get a much needed bath. Being the bath hater that he is, I was a bit nervous about how he would react to going, but he did so great & even wanted to go back inside! Lol Upon arrival, we met the owners and they were so sweet & super helpful! Family-owned as well which is a plus for me! They gave us a rundown of the process and gave us much needed guidance throughout. They provided the shampoo, conditioner, blueberry facial, towels, dryer, happy hoodie, pet colognes and more! Great self-washing dog service! My 5-year-old Husky Milo, recently underwent TPLO surgery, and the electric bath that moves up and down has been a game changer. It made bathing him so much easier and safer during his recovery. The blower is strong, they have great products, and the staff is kind and helpful. Zero stars if I could. My husband went today with his husky. Was turned away despite open stalls because of the "hair". Wasted our time and gas driving to Whittier for a self wash to accommodate our dog just to be turned away. Don't come here if you have any shedding dog. Apparently hair is an issue. read more
