I never told this buffoon that I had a contractor. Why would I make a request on Yelp if I'm not looking for a contractor? There are plenty of places that sell countertop material, such as Arizona Tile. I just want the convenience of having a contractor who may have his own showroom. Why would I give him a deposit when i don't know if he has the slab I want? Who would be dumb enough to give him money when he hasn't shown he's got the goods to do the work? This guy is insecure about his business skills so he lashes out on customers who disagree with him or question his abilities to do the work. I give businesses bad ratings because they deserve them. His business deserves a bad rating. I will give praise to a business when praise is due. For him to attack my integrity shows how he handles people who questions his competency. We had this super small job that we wanted done. A small counter top in a bath and a shelf. I already had the Caesarstone remnant to do the job. Several other fabricators / installers either didn't want to do the job or would charge me $300+. Artak at Arts Stone Works came by, said he could do it for half that price if I worked around his schedule. I mentioned that we were also considering using Carrera Marble instead since it would brighten up the bath more than my grey Caesarstone. He show'd a picture of remnant he had on his phone. It appeared to be perfect! We had priced some Marble remnants at $120-$200, which was too high for our situation. We didn't know what Artak would charge for that. Figured he gives us a quote when he contacted us again. We expected to hear from Artak in maybe a week, since we agreed to work around his busy schedule. He shows up the very next day, with the two Carrera Marble pieces already cut, edged and polished and installed them in just an hour. They were perfect. I'm so so happy with the results. At $150 for labor, install and Marble Remnants, it was a great deal. We were delighted in how much we saved. We were able to add a touch of elegance to our bath at a real bargain. Artak is fast, affordable and professional. All we had to do was touch up the paint. Couldn't be more grateful. read more
