I recently…read morebought a condo and wanted to remove the existing carpet and change the dark floors to something lighter, but I was a bit nervous because I have no remodeling experience... Eder answered all my questions met with me multiple times to show different samples and give valuable advice on the flooring types. I never felt pressured to rush my decisions and all the contract/insurance/ license info and pricing was clear and not shady (which is more important to me over a cheap price) Ultimately the team finished my new floors even earlier than expected! I'm super happy with the result and my unit looks much larger, modern, and brighter.

Our project manager, Eder, was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was extremely communicative and stayed on top of every detail. Choosing the right flooring is a big decision, and Eder was incredibly patient while we weighed our options, even providing full sample boxes so we could see how the wood looked in our own light. One thing we really appreciated was Eder's transparency. Before the installation began, he walked the house with us and highlighted specific areas that needed extra attention. Being aligned on the solutions beforehand saved us a lot of stress and ensured there were no surprises mid-project. The crew was efficient and actually finished the entire job ahead of the original schedule. During the final walkthrough, we identified a few minor items that needed touching up. Eder handled these immediately and was more than happy to ensure every detail met our expectations. If you are looking for a professional team that prioritizes communication and quality finishes, I highly recommend Sequoia Flooring. Ask for Eder!

We just finished a kitchen and two bathroom remodel with Coram, and would highly recommend this…read moreteam to anyone who is looking for a stellar design and build firm. From day one, the whole team made the process so much easier than we could have imagined and we couldn't be more delighted with the results. We worked closely with Michael, Sean, and Tritia every step of the way through meetings at their office, on site walkthroughs, and text and email. I had very specific design ideas I wanted to include and never once felt gaslit or unheard. Coram would do their best to accommodate my ideas and if they couldn't for structural reasons, we would work collaboratively to find a design that worked for the space. Sean's attention to detail and his tech savvy nature was a huge asset throughout the process. Our contractor extraordinaire, Leo, was super reliable and always had a positive attitude. His motto was "there's always a solution" and there is truly not a problem he can't solve. Since we chose to live in our house during the renovation process, we were nervous about dust and noise but the crew was clean and the always respectful. They even worked through a power outage--with their own generator! Francisco, the carpenter, built all our cabinets to our exact measurements. For our wet bar, he took a sketch we came up with and built a masterpiece. In fact, we had planned to save a bit on budget and build our own media center but after seeing his craftsmanship in the kitchen, we knew he had to be the one to build our media center and we are grateful he did! His work is just beautiful--you can tell it's built to last. What I appreciated most was how well everyone worked together. We always felt like our project mattered, and if we had a question or change, the team was quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Now that everything's done, our kitchen and bathrooms not only look amazing but are way more functional too. We honestly couldn't be happier and would 100% recommend Coram to anyone thinking about remodeling.

I appreciated how they listened to my ideas and then provided helpful and smart solutions. I struggled with feeling like all my ideas were too wild for my budget, but they were able to discuss things with me in a practical way and explain what we could realistically do. They guided me through the process step by step, first starting with inspiration pictures and then collaborating with me on every decision like kitchen and bathroom layout, the lighting, structural considerations, plumbing changes, flooring options, appliances, the cabinets, the tile, colors, even the placement of the mirrors and knobs. They provided different options to consider within our price range and knew when to discuss potential issues that could come up, things I never would have thought of on my own. Coram found a balance between getting my input while also providing me with professional opinions on what they knew would/would not work. Very collaborative. They do everything in house, the architecture, interior design and contracting work which made communication about the project a breeze. I could trust the project manager to relay important information to me when needed. Now that we are living in our house I keep having moments of noticing details that they worked on that we really love, for example, they put automatic lights in the laundry closet and that's such a nice touch. The hood range they helped us select has an automatic sensor and we were so pleasantly surprised the first time it turned on while cooking. I keep staring at the plumbing and lighting fixtures they helped us pick because they are so beautiful, functional, and they fit in our budget. There was no way I could have managed to pick all those details on my own. The overall feel of the house is exactly what I hoped for and everyone who visits us is amazed at how nice it turned out. I feel like their style is exactly my style--minimal, modern, sleek, incorporating traditional elements when needed--but it's more likely that they are just good at working with their clients to make it exactly their own. I think renovations can be so scary especially if there's a lot you don't understand. We had spoken to several other design teams before this and hiring Coram was the moment when the impossible task suddenly felt possible, they approach everything with a problem solving mindset and will take the time to explain things to you. It really makes all the difference. Had the best experience with Coram and will highly recommend them to all our friends and family.

I am glad this ended on a good note, since other than the communication issue, the floors look amazing, and his team worked hard and quickly. His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Instead, since he has been fully paid, he won't even see the project to the end to make sure he delivers on quality work. I understand that things come up and he could be busy but the non-responsiveness for two weeks is clear.

Installation kicked off right on schedule. Alex's crews showed up early each morning with smiles, set clear expectations for the day, and--my favorite part--left the site spotless every evening. No sawdust trails, no empty coffee cups, just tidy floors ready for the next day's work. The installers were polite and happy to answer my many questions about care and maintenance. A special shout-out to the team member who tackled the staircase: the precision on each tread and riser is next-level. Friends keep asking if the stairs were custom-built! The new baseboards tie everything together with crisp, clean lines that make the room feel finished and elevated. Bottom line: if you're hunting for competitive pricing without sacrificing craftsmanship or communication, call Aesthetic Flooring. I'm beyond thrilled with the transformation and can't stop staring at my beautiful new floors. I've added a few photos of the project in progress so you can see the crew's attention to detail for yourself. Highly, highly recommend!

I can do a lot of work around the house...but not doors. Or painting. I hate painting. I'd rather dig a 10 foot hole in the ground than paint. Sorry. I digress. Ara showed up on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and told me what he thought needed to be done. But first he wanted to go to a hardware store (or two) to see if they had the materials necessary. He found them and asked when I wanted him to do the work. I assumed it'd be a week from today, but when I asked if he could do it today he paused, nodded, and said, "Sure." He reconstructed the part of my door jam that had bothered me for 18 years - and made me glad I didn't try to do it myself. AND he did the painting!!! Thank you, Ara! You were great to work with and I'm definitely keeping your contact info!
