    Fresh bagel and iced tea

Great place, great atmosphere, GREAT food! The owner is very kind and this place just feels amazing. I like going there and having a bagel or a fresh cookie (warm and taken just out of the oven) with a beverage once a week and sit outside and just enjoy the place and its food.

Pastiera (Easter cake) - it was amazing

A rare and true Italian bakery that is still working so hard to make fresh authentic pastries. So many bakeries cut corners and use cheap ingredients but you can tell this place is legit and goes the extra mile to deliver consistent great products. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful. I hope this place is here forever as it's a lost art that many don't know how to deliver on. While I recommend many things here, we just had their Pastiera (Easter cake) which is amazing and not overly sweet.

Artuso's is an amazing bakery!!! I called them to see if they could make a gender announcement cake and they did an incredible job! The cake was beautiful and delicious! I'm incredibly grateful, thanks again!!!

Solid assortment of Italian cookies and pastries. They do a nice job. The quality is good and their product is fresh. The chocolate covered macaroons have a really nice flavor and a good texture. I don't remember seeing pignoli cookies. They are a must have. If they do have them I missed it. My other go to that is a top favorite which they did not have are the Florentine chocolate lace cookies. Overall a good place to grab desserts

I even didn't know that they are in vacation .... So sad

Excellent italian ice, very friendly workers. Seems like an old-school Italian bakery you'd see in Brooklyn or the Bronx.

The setup was easy enough to find, but the overall vibe felt a little limited. I ordered a sourdough bagel with cream cheese and a plain croissant. Both were okay -- fresh, toasted, and crispy (maybe a little too toasted). The croissant was huge, which was a nice surprise, but it wasn't buttered, which I definitely prefer. I also wish they had more bagel options available when I went, and I'm personally not a fan of applying my own cream cheese -- part of the bagel experience for me is having it done for you. It also seems like the only add-on option now is cream cheese, which is a little disappointing if you're hoping for a full sandwich or variety. On the plus side, there's parking right outside, which is always appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not great either. I might give it another try someday, but it's not at the top of my list.

In fairness to them, English speaking bakeries do it too but in English. The staff speak some English making it a bit difficult to find out what it is or if you have allergies whether or not to avoid it. The staff is friendly. The prices are standard bakery prices. I had the conejo and Berlin crema which are the exact same thing but different presentation. I had the erizo which you need a fork to eat. I did not know that and it is like trying to eat chocolate cake with your hands (if you did not get the fork). The most memorable part was a male staffer that really did not want to work and wanted everyone to know it. He spent his time kissing his girlfriend, talking to her, and letting her touch his chest. I know he worked there because he went behind the counter when they were done but she stayed to talk to him over the counter.

I was visiting friends in Nyack and wanted to bring something special instead of the usual bottle of wine or grocery store dessert. This turned out to be exactly the right place. What really stood out was seeing so many locals hanging out enjoying coffee and fresh pastries. They had some interesting looking thick quiches, things like croissants, cakes, tarts and macarons (the girl behind the counter corrected my friend by saying "macaroon" which is technically incorrect). I'm a sucker for a good bread pudding but i should have reconsidered since that was the thing they seemed to have plenty of. They didn't heat that or the pear Tartlett up; eating them both cold was unsatisfactory (I know we should have said something but then a line was forming) and I felt sick after eating the bread pudding (perhaps too rich and just too cold and sad). I didn't feel very comfortable in the space, as I was expecting something more quaint and charming vs. old and in need of a makeover and cleaning. This was one experience so I would give it another shot, maybe earlier in the day. Metered street parking or there's a municipal lot around the corner.
