One day at our vet he asked if they boarded cats, they gave us a pamphlet that was just dropped off and said The Whisker Haven had just opened up. We immediately called and asked to see the place. Trina was so great and understood why I would be nervous. Her place is strictly for cats so it is a nice and relaxing place for them. She showed us around and we even met her two cats that were there. Trina put so much thought and care into her place and it can be seen with all the little details I would never have thought of. I was so happy that we booked four days with her for the July 4th holiday. She asked if it was OK if she texted us updates, and of course, we were happy to get them! While we were away we received pictures and updates. Our Agnes was doing great and looked so happy and comfortable. When we showed up to pick her up, she didn't want to leave! She was walking around and enjoying the large cat tree that is near her large window in the back. She was so happy and enjoyed her time there. Trina also brushed her, which we were able to tell because she felt so nice and well taken care of. Surprisingly, we put her on the floor and she walked back into her "cat condo", ate, and went to sleep in the bed! This is truly the best place you could bring your cat. Trina cares for animals and is a true cat lover. She has thought of everything possible to make your cat's time there enjoyable. She even will give your cat their medication for a small fee, this was great because our cat needs a pill twice a day. We have already booked future dates because we feel she will be booked up once the word gets out! We highly recommended bringing your cat here. It is like an affordable spa vacation for your cat. You will be so happy with The Whisker Haven, Trina is the best!

The price was 6.00 dollars MORE than I paid on Amazon! I looked for the next item on my list, cat food-again, knew the brand, bag size and everything. The ladies there didn't like the fact my wife commented to them the exact same items at substantially lower prices. You can get most everything in this store much cheaper down the road. And about their cat...it was laying on the counter. I asked if it was a boy or a girl, not knowing, just making conversation... "Well, Augustus is his name so it should be a given..." ...This is what I was told. Well, I've known people who have named their cat Stevie and it was a female , I replied. She felt terrible that she couldn't think of another person and then she graciously told me she would do it. Cathy saved the day and our little cat Tink now has a new friend for life. Prior to cat sitting I went and met Cathy at her store. Her store blew me away. The minute you walk in Cat's Kingdom you can feel the love. You can also see some cats :). There was Moo, Augustus and a sweet little Clementine. (Clementine is only there for a few more weeks before she goes to her new forever home.) Cathy and I started chatting about pet sitting but as we were talking I was overwhelmed with all the options of food that I didn't think existed for Cats. I had been wanting fresh food (not canned or dry) for our cat. I had seen fresh food for dogs at Whole Foods and Petsmart, etc. but none for Cats. Cathy has it!!! I'm telling you, you must check out her store.!! I am now a loyal customer and I know that if I have to go away for a few days Tink will get to see her buddy again :). They gave us the opportunity to spend time with our pup, they answered all our questions and provided us with a goodie pack full of things he needed as well as toys he loves. Our adoption came with a microchip, 3 free training classes on site and one month of pet insurance which are so very useful. I want to reiterate how kind and diligent everyone was during our visit. We were asked a number of questions to make sure we were a good fit with Iggy. We were also given time to walk with him around the grounds and see his behavior indoors. It was a great experience. I am also really grateful to any organization that is bringing dogs (especially hounds) north to find forever homes, indoors with families. It is a kind and wonderful thing to help these dogs in need. But then to extend the service to offer behavioral training is really going that extra mile to assist families and their new pets with a smooth transition and tools for lifelong success. Thank you so much for the service you provide for these animals.

She was free from Lyme disease after some treatment and we treated her with medication for the tick and flea problems but they and she was all cleared up in 3 months time. She was so smart and loving but now she is dying. Arbor Veterinary gave her the rabies shot in the wrong place and paralyzed her and she may have 2 days left she is in really bad shape. I can't even get her to eat anymore. She locked her jaw. I'm really going to miss her when she passes and I don't know how I'm going to come up with the money for cremation because I was scammed for $5000 and we have no more money.
