He was instrumental in helping me through a very dangerous and scary period of illness. I was quickly having trouble breathing and becoming feverish. He ran tests and gave me a prescription to cure bronchitis...which it did, but I was still unable to breathe. It turns out that I had developed environmental/allergic asthma. During this scary month, I knew that I was in good hands with Dr. Farah. Furthermore, he recommended specialists who share the same characteristics. My asthma is now under control. I have recommended Dr. Farah to my husband and my close friends. He is an internist, so his specialty is adult care, not pediatrics. His practice is located on the third floor of the Heathcote Health Center medical building - located at the western end of Heathcote Boulevard. I went in for my initial meeting/consultation to scope him out - liked the overall vibe of the Doc and his practice and went with him. He is very personable, listens to your concerns, and takes the time to patiently articulate things. My current doctor had never heard of such a policy before. ---------------------------------------------------------------- My experience with Dr. Hall herself and her nurse were very positive. I felt her bedside manner was great and any question I asked, they were happy to answer thoroughly. My negative review is more specifically aimed toward the administrative staff and their policies toward procedures already covered by insurance. I needed to have a particular procedure done, and Dr. Hall assured me they had done this before and were familiar with the procedure. Long story short, the administrative staff took 4 weeks to let me know that, even though the procedure was 100% covered by my insurance, they would not go through with it unless I paid up front for the implant and procedure, then they reimbursed me after insurance reimbursement was sent to them. I dealt with one member of their staff in particular throughout this ordeal that made sure to let me know, probably 5 times in total, how much of a burden it would be for the practice to be out $800 while they waited for insurance to come through with the reimbursement. So in summary, they'd rather take that money from me, though they saw themselves that this would be 100% reimbursed by my insurance. I am a 23 year old woman with great insurance. That is a lot of money for one INDIVIDUAL PERSON to be out. I would not pay for health insurance each month if I was going to have to pay for these things anyway. After waiting 4 weeks for this to get resolved and only receiving ANY information from them when I reached out to them myself, I am switching OB-GYN's. This member of their staff made it very clear that the priority lies with the practice's financial stability instead of with the patient's health. On top of that, the individual in the administrative staff was incredibly rude. Each week, after waiting for more information from her, I would call to get an update (most of the time she would start with "oh, I meant to call you...") and it was very clear how interrupted she felt by my call. I could not believe her laziness in getting this information over to me and her rude attitude with each phone call. I really wish I could give Dr. Hall 5 stars. Without this situation and the laissez faire attitude of the administrative assistant, I would have ranked my visits with them very highly.

My son had bloodwork & they never called me with the results so I assumed all was well. He ended up back, sick & we were told at the appt. his bloodwork showed he was positive for strep. The bloodwork came in days before & no one called. I saw him & also had bloodwork done. Nurse told me 2-3 days for it to come back. Then when I call on day 3 recpt. said it takes 2-3 wks. I called 3 more times after wk. 2 to check. I specifically asked twice if they will call me as soon as it comes in as I was suffering with a miserable allergic reaction/hives. They never called. I called & got the results. (3 wks. 1 day to get them)The dr. asked me rather bizarre questions at appt. also. I'm looking for a new dr. now, one who acts like they care & actually returns calls & gives you your lab results without having to be hunted down. I was very ill & needed meds. I had been in the office on a wed. Called on Fri. to ask for new meds to help control hives. I was miserable. I called 3 times practically begging for a prescription. Finally on call 3 recpt. tells me the dr. is out of town for 2 wks. & she didn't think he'd return a call. They were still open, obviously so I asked if there's another dr. who is handling things as I was just left hanging. I ended up getting my prescription but felt it was ridiculous what I had to go through to get it. The lack of concern is my reason for looking for a new dr. I really don't feel like these people care about my health.
