The doctors take the time to listen and provide thorough explanations, which I really appreciate. The facility is clean and well-organized, making appointments smooth and stress-free. I really don't know what's going on with Inova, especially their Mark Center location. It has been steadily going downhill in terms of quality and patient care. I can now see why my previous internist chose to not be part of this group any longer! The front staff is obnoxiously loud, extremely unprofessional, and more focused on socializing rather than giving accurate information/wait times for currently waiting patients. If you choose to continue coming here, I highly recommend in bringing earplugs, because you'll end up with a total migraine from the shrilling raucous. The phlebotomist is super lazy and inefficient, and, I kid you not, I have waited over 2+ hours to just get blood drawn. The last straw was when I was told there was no queue when I directly asked one of the receptionists what the estimated time of a wait was; I waited 20 minutes with no updates, and, when I finally went up to ask what the ETA was for the phlebotomist, the receptionist had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't seeing anyone currently, and it would be another 30+ minute wait. The communication here is wack. I will not be returning to this location to the lack of concern and negligence within this practice from the front desk and office manager. They had incorrect contact information down for me which never happened prior and ultimately was unable to be seen. I was then told to come in person... i haven't been able to get out of bed for days, which is why the virtual appointment was scheduled. I was hung up on, told I could just visit another location, etc. I've had pleasant experiences the times before especially with Dr. Sohail and Lola, I believe. (super sweet lady at the front desk). However, after today, I do not feel comfortable trusting this location with any medical concerns I have. read more

Joined this new medical group based on a friends recommendation. I often dread the all too familiar waiting room game: appt at x time and then seen 2 hours later. It was not the case at this new practice. I arrived 20 minutes early, completed paperwork in hand and was seen right away. Bonus for taking me early. I finished my detailed physical exam, blood work and idle chit chat with the doctor. I got home in time to start work early. Parking was super easy. Driving in rush hour is not always fun but the experience at the medical office made it all worth while. read more

Do not use this group, they're terrible! Do not use Dr. Zhang, you'd be putting your life into incompetent hands! This practice is made up by several Primary Care Physicians and they leave a lot of the day to day operations up to the front office staff. They also leave a whole lot to be desired! The rude manor and incompetence of this practice begins as soon as you walk in the door. The reception staff won't greet you, but will bark out questions never looking up to see you. If you had paperwork or referrals that needed to be completed by the practice, keep on waiting because it won't be completed until you lose your mind trying to explain to them that they need to do it, that the paperwork has to come from them. Even after four months, we waited They will out and out lie to your face to deflect responsibility. If it gets done at all, it will be done with great resistance and with an argumentative disposition. After you're finished with the rude front desk staff you'll encounter the triage staff that hastily takes readings only for you to be put into an examination room where you will wait, and wait. At least we always had to wait for Dr. Zhang. Dr. Zhang is the most unprofessional and incompetent Dr. I've ever met! He doesn't listen. He will be in a big hurry but will take up your time by telling stories of his life that have absolutely nothing to do with you or why you're there. He is condescending, at best, mocking is a better term to describe him. he's flat out rude. He mis-read blood work that showed cancer cells and after four months had still done nothing to rectify his mistake. When openly asked about tests or medication changes we were met with a condescending attitude but no answers, If you blindly follow Dr. Zhang you're putting your life in the hands of someone that just doesn't care or is incompetent to do the right thing. We finally had enough and changed doctor's. Thank God we did or we never would have found out about the cancer. It"s now being taken care of by another doctor that is competent and knows what she's doing. read more

I've been a patient for over 6 years and after my primary care doctor left the practice it was evident they don't care about black peoples pain, they don't take my pain seriously, they want to keep me sick to keep my copays and all the lab money flowing! Do not come here! read more

If you're looking for a primary care doctor and an office full of compassionate folks, this is the place. I see Dr. Castillo and she is fantastic. She takes the time to listen and educate and she has asked that I stay in touch with her through Inova's patient portal. (Just as an FYI, I used the message service to ask her a question after my first visit and she followed up within 24 hours.) Shaniqua has taken my vitals and checked me in the last few visits. She is so friendly and warm. The front desk staff is also great. Admittedly, everyone I've seen in the Inova system has been wonderful to work with. Save yourself the trouble and just make Inova your one stop healthcare provider! read more

I had to get some ultrasounds performed recently and was referred to Inova at Mark Center. They were able to squeeze me in for two procedures with just one day's notice, which is always appreciated when you're anxiously waiting for answers! The office was a bit confusing to get into, as it's located in a nondescript office building within several blocks of nondescript office buildings, but parking was plentiful and easy. The techs were very pleasant and made the scary procedures a bit more tolerable. Billing and insurance were dealt with in-office, so I didn't have to worry about coverage issues or wonder what the bill would be. I'd say this was about as pleasant as a medical visit can be. read more

The front office staff are informative and pleasant, I think they are great, but the Medical Care is awful. It may be convenient because it is at the Mark Center location, but it is sad to see that the medical providers don't care. I have never seen anything like this. They don't read your charts, they don't listen to your concerns. Mind you it is our insurance and our dollars that pay for this service. I am in the process of looking for a medical office that really cares about their patients, but this isn't it. I advise anyone seeking a medical practitioner to find another office. read more

Never returning. Used them for over a year, never got the feeling that I was their primary concern ever. I saw 2 different doctors here and neither would ever listen to me at all. Apparently after reviewing my medical history for 20 seconds they knew SO MUCH MORE about me then I have learned about myself in over 40 years!! Terrible bedside manner (rude, condescending attitudes). This place operates like a revolving door. Basically I got the feeling they wanted me to come in as many times as possible to bill back my insurance. Needing blood work done way too frequently and refusing to refill my long term medications more than 30 days at a time! I haven't even mentioned the reception staff....even worse attitudes. I had to hang up on her just trying to reschedule my appointment that the doctor cancelled with 12 hours notice!! Stay away....FAR AWAY! Your health depends on it. read more

Not very helpful MRI center. I had an MRI scan done at this center in JAN 2019 and took a CD of another MRI I did at Walter Reed Hospital and they could not import the images into their MRI system to do a comparison. I called and asked what software or version they are using and no one had the answer or can help me get to a solution. This is poor healthcare service in my opinion and lack of caring skills in order to help patients. read more
