I should have insisted when his behavior got more and more unusual but he was recommended by a friend... I have a record of payment. I had my regular mechanic swap the sensors back. My regular mechanic is working on the car now. Honestly the value is what you pay for. It was affordable but my car factually fell apart. I could have died. I hope to get this place closed, no one should be put in danger like this. Im unscathed but this blessing means I have to do something about this shop.

I took it back three times and Ceaser refused to take responsibility and fix the problem they caused. He became belligerent and insisted they did not cause the problem. First he said it was the wheel speed sensor and I said they must have damaged it during the brake repair. Then he became defensive and aggressive and said it was the computer and they could not have caused it. He insisted it was just "a coincidence." The ABS light has never been on before the brake repair and a few hours after the brake repair it came on and the brakes are skidding. I have spent over 10,000 dollars at this shop and I will never return. Mario always made it right and took responsibility. The son will blame your car.

Ive been around looking for an honest shop that can do my BMW's right without any hassles and A's Garage proved that they can do the job right. Alvin has the technical skills that surpasses most of the so called "trained" technicians out there. He knows how to save you money and how to approach a problem and find the best solution that is cost effective and beneficial to your budget. They say an older BMW will just give you headache to maintain, but in reality if you have somebody that can fix your car right like Alvin, that dilemma will not be a problem at all. I have a 2001 E46 sedan that had a very loud grinding noise that sounded like it's coming from the transmission, at first I was expecting that my tranny will go out on me anytime cause the noise was coming directly underneath my gearbox. I can hear this noise every time I hit a certain speed and would become louder as I go faster. I bought my car to A's Garage and Alvin took a close look where this particular noise is coming from. At first, he advised me not to even consider getting my tranny serviced until he's definite that the noise is coming from the tranny. From the cabin, it's clear the noise is directly underneath the center console. But since Alvin is so knowledgeable about BMW's he clearly stated that it could be on another place and the noise just resonates in that area. It took him a while to find what's the cause and then he finally found that it's one of the rear brake caliper springs that was loosely mounted and worn. Instead of me spending thousands to have the tranny inspected, I ended up paying less than $100 for that irritating noise. that's how good Alvin is. You don't get that from other shops. let me start off by saying that if there were 10 stars id give Alvin 11. he is just truly amazing. i failed my smog test on a newer BMW X3; my check engine was on. I went to my old mechanic and he found 3 things that were wrong with it and gave me an absurd estimate of 1500 dollars. I had a feeling something was wrong with the estimate so i found Alvin through yelp. i went to Alvin and he told me the two real things that were wrong with it; proving the fact that my old mechanic was a crook who has been ripping me off for years with parts that did not need to be replaced and charging me extra for labor. Alvin showed me everything and explained everything in detail. he even drove the car after it was fixed for 40 miles to make sure that the engine light did not go back on. i picked my my car this morning and everything was done perfectly and smoothly. he even replaced my light that was out and fixed my tire pressure for free. I am more than impressed and satisfied. I payed 588 dollars, and I am trully gratefull i found him. If you have a BMW i strongly encourage you to call him. I've been looking for a decent local place to take my 7-yr. old BMW for years now and had almost given up... so happy I found A's Garage (due to trusting the reviews here on yelp -- thanks!) Returned from a long road trip with what seemed like every light on my dashboard lit... knew I desperately needed an oil change and some basic maintenance, and was terrified of what else might be wrong (or, more likely, what a dishonest mechanic would claim was wrong). Alvin was awesome -- called when he said he would, and after all was said and done all I needed "extra" was one belt replaced (which I'd actually been told about last year by another mechanic and hadn't fixed at the time due to the outrageous quote he gave me). Anyway, got the oil change, tires rotated, other fluids checked and topped off, etc., plus a new belt -- for what I know was not significantly more than the price of just an oil change elsewhere. Best. Mechanic. Alvin and his staff are courteous, professional, and his prices are extremely reasonable. I was taking my pre-owned 530i wagon to a "specialist" in south pasadena. Every visit cost between 1-2k, and I left with the same issue I came in with. After a over a year of multiple repairs for a stalling battery (stupidly continued going back because of a friend's referral), I tried A's. He was packed and busy, but he took a few moments to perform a diagnostic. He gave me 3 scenarios, thinking that the issue was as simple as replacing the battery. I was apprehensive about his diagnosis because the former mechanic replaced the battery, and said the problem was an electrical issue. I apprehensively got a new battery at Alvin's suggestion and voila! It has been a year since that first visit to Alvin, and my car hasn't stalled once! Brought my 2013 BMW 535 to Monrovia BMW because service warning light saying front brake pads needs to be replaced. Service advisor says brake pads are ok and the problem was a computer glitch, hence the service light. According to service advisor computer glitch is not covered by the warranty. Left the dealership unhappy because service warning light is constantly on. After a few days, I went to A's garage to have it looked at and give me advice. Not only was Alvin able to fix the computer glitch, he discovered that a wire on the front driver side brake is damaged and needs replacing, certainly BMW Monrovia didn't even bother checking. John took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, spending a couple of hours checking everything to find the real cause. He called me back, explained that a sensor needed replacement, and ordered a genuine Hyundai part to fix it. He also noticed that my previous oil change had overfilled the oil, so he drained some to bring it to the proper level, and he fixed the engine cover that wasn't clipped properly. Thanks to John, my car now drives perfectly smooth. If you want someone who truly pays attention and knows their stuff, JC Auto is the place! I highly recommend them.

He has fixed many things on my Kia and Mercedes and always done it quickly and for a fair price. Today they were so busy, I wanted him to replace the rear tail light socket, he just took it it apart himself and got it working while I waited and didn't charge me. This turned out to be a great place to bring my car to!…read more I needed to replace the VSA (?) module that had become defective. Okay, so I looked up the price for a new one and almost had a heart attack! My car is a 2005 Acura RL, and the part cost well over $3500.00! So, I decided to take a chance and buy a used one off of eBay, for about $340.00. But, I still needed to get it installed...well, why not? Okay, so I had not been to this shop before, but because the estimate is free, I stopped by to get one. The owner told me he'd do it for $200.00, which is what I was thinking it would cost to have it installed. So, we made arrangements to have the work done on 12/26/2025. When I dropped the car off, I also asked to have the power steering pump checked for leaks. He said he will check that out and let me know. A little while later he called and said the reservoir had a crack and the part would cost only $50.00. I asked how much for the labor and he said, "no charge, since he had to remove it to get to the VSA module". WOW! That's what I call an honest, reliable owner! Only had to pay for the part! So, since he could get the part right away, I said to go ahead and replace it. The VSA module was also replaced the same day, and my car was good to go. I liked this place so much, that my better half brought her car here for servicing as well. She asked him to also check for an oil leak. He found it and said it would be an additional $90 to fix the leak by replacing the part. Very reasonable we thought, so she told him to do the work. Her car was finished in a timely manner, and all work done was very reasonably price, and he charged the price he quoted. So far, neither of us has had any problems with the service that was done. Both cars work great, and will be back when future servicing is needed. I highly recommend this business!

I didn't expect much on the work, and thought it just likes other alignment shop around. However, they did the wonderful job on the alignment. I attach the result of my alignment. if you know about the alignment, you will see they did the good job, even better than the dealership. my car has all stock parts. p/s: thank you for removing the seize nuts on the tie rod.
