Moved to Fontana about 9 months ago and was really disappointed in the barbershops I tried in the area. I am originally from La Puente and you get a great cut at value prices, so looking for a barbershop to compare was challenging. Since I am off from work and desperately needed a cut, I stumbled on Sportscutz and let me tell you it was an amazing decision. I walked in on a Thursday morning and all the barbers greeted me immediately. The vibe was everything I wanted in a barbershop: coffee and water for guests, TVs playing everything from sports to recent media like TMZ, and the decor was appealing to the eye. Now the haircut (my hair is difficult to work with), I sat down with Ulysses and immediately was impressed. He took time to really understand what I wanted in a cut and made sure he understood. Furthermore he took the time in my drop fade and cutting some length as well as styling my hair. Ulysses was professional and I appreciated his attention to detail. Overall a great experience and for the price (~$20) the quality cannot be matched. They have definitely earned my business. read more

THIS IS MY SPOT!!! Shout out to Ant for always hold me down. I'm not the type to set up appointments so I greatly appreciate it every time that I come in and you manage to get me in your chair. You always do me justice. I have a simple cut: 3 on top, fade to 0 on the back, fade to one on the sides with pointed burns. Although my cut is simple nobody pulls it off like you my man. You keep a brotha lookin crispy with that single blade. So once again, Thank You man. Environmental wise y'all get another 5 stars. My favorite part of the shop is the black gator skin chairs. It instantly attracts the eyes soon as you walk in. You guys got the games in the back for the kids and the barbers on leisurely time. First off, I would like to point out that I have a high energy toddler who HATED hair cuts. No, seriously. It was always a fight to try to get him to sit calmly in the barber chair. I was referred by a family member to meet with George at Sports Cutz. Due to my past experiences, I told myself "just give this one last try". I booked my appt fast and easy through their Instagram link. Finally the day came and I was pleasantly surprised at how patient and professional George was towards my son and myself as the parent. He made my son feel comfortable all while making sure that I was pleased with the service. I definitely was and will be referring friends to him as well. Thank you George! This place has great barbers and a great atmosphere...got TV's to watch any sport events. They also got video games there to play while waiting. My 2 year old son and I got fresh cuts by Anthony. He takes his time and does great work. My 2 year old didn't even cry with him when he cut him up. My 5 year old got his haircut bt Ulysses and he also did an amazing job on him. All the barbers are very friendly and professional. Best part about my cut is you get 2 beers when you get your haircut and talk sports and watch sports. It doesn't get any better than that. it's always clean and professional they always have complimentary refreshments for their clients. I also like how they have a couch in the back with PlayStation for clients can play while they wait for there haircut. They also find great ways to give back to their community they had a event for back to school they where giving away free backpacks crayons and notebooks and BBQ. The barbers are friendly, talented, and some even do hair dyeing if you're looking for something different. They've got vending machines for snacks and drinks, plus complimentary water and coffee to keep you comfortable. The shop is in a great area too, which makes it super convenient. I tagged along with my boyfriend to get his haircut at Sportscutz and they were actually having a back to school event that day. The kids were getting free backpacks, a notebook, and even crayons when paying for a haircut. So nice to see a small business wanting to help their local kids. My son has a 3c curl texture he is mixed and this is definitely my go to place barber Anthony has been the only barber i have come across that is consistent with his work, he gets it right every time. I'm very bias and picky when it comes to my sons hair and how it's done and the environment they're are surrounded by. The shop is clean the employees are welcoming and very pilot. Took my grandson here for a haircut and was very happy with the results. Went to another spot in Fontana n it seemed they didnt understand how to cut his hair n this place did exactly what I asked. Place is super legit for a barber shop! Kid friendly and all the services you could ask for. My son and I have been getting cut by Anthony for 6+ years and he never fails or argues to make a few minor adjustments so you leave the chair happy!
