They are extremely rude and manipulate the billings to achieve the most benefit and income for their office. After speaking to my insurance, they confirmed the way the appointment was billed was incorrect. A new patient appointment and physicals are 100% covered under my insurance as preventative care, and should be billed as such. However, when I brought this to the billing department, she immediately got defensive and rude and told me that I was asking her to commit fraud and refused to resubmit their billings to my insurance. I would highly suggest choosing a different office for your medical needs, a doctor should look out for your best interest and care about your health. However, their first priority is making the most money they can and do not look out for your best interests.

I have been in the EMS field for over 20 years and have dealt both personally and professionally with many mental health professionals and can say that Nurse Defilippo's limited experience becomes obvious in dealing with mental health issues. After 4 visits with this provider, he allowed his personal issues come into this "professional" relationship and completely left me in the wind in the middle of a mental health crisis. I've experienced school kids with better people skills. If you are looking for a mental health provider that is only capable of offering you psych meds, then this may be your provider. However, if you are looking for a mental health professional that is well, professional, keep looking. His website states "Michael's approach to mental health begins with respect, kindness and understanding". This had not been even close to my experience. Nurse Defilippo does not offer any kind of true therapeutic help and his limited experience becomes obvious in a short period of time. His inexperience and limited mental health training should disqualify him from being able to portray or call himself a doctor. Looking at the only 2 other reviews here, maybe if I was an attractive female, nurse Defilippo's help and interaction with me may have been different.

Then, the crown had too much cement crammed under the gum line, another dentist had to fix it. Then, they mis- quoted me on insurance costs. Now, in 2025, I have a bone infection under the root canal, liquified bone, horrible pain & a ton of money to fix. I also have to wait 8-10 months to see if the bone will regenerate, or I have to have surgery. Why? Because this unqualified dentist missed a branch of the root, left it in, and it got infected. Stay away from this practice. Everyone in it is below par, from the dentist to the insurance staff!

I was certain that they were just covering for the terrible dentist who was threatening them (because really ... all dentists are scary, right?) BUT NO! Dr. Fordham was awesome. Did I mention that he was awesome? Furthermore, he didn't judge me either. For not going to the dentist more often. Which is going to change, because he's awesome. His treatment plan didn't include ripping out teeth or root canals or chaining me to rocks for monsters to eat me either. He gently, clearly and in real language explained to me that I needed to follow through with the peridontal plan... and if I did, I'd probably live. And if I do (and I probably will) I have a new dentist.

She saw my first Yelp review and seemed sincerely concerned that I was upset as well as that it would reflect on her whole facility and the work she had been doing since she arrived in January. She sincerely defended the care they had given my husband. The nurse in residence had done her best I think. Jennifer also offered to call Frontier herself to do all she could do to correct the financial issue involved. A Place for Mom also responded on Friday and offered real help. So, my original review now seems less than fair and I apologize for that. I'm sorry it took the review to receive this support but it obviously made a difference. In my original review I think I gave credit to HomePlace for the satisfied residents they do have, which I hope showed fairness all along. I'm truly glad that Jennifer is trying to make things better.
