He was quick to respond and was truthful and honest about how are particular model has a history of failures (including a class action lawsuit because of it) and said he would love to fix it for us, but didn't want to charge us for a repair that would just resurface. I appreciated that honesty so much. He went above and beyond and did a visit to see if he could provide a band-aid while we figured out some other options. As a retired teacher; acronyms are a great tool when trying to keep items in order. I was curious about the name and it made me smile. Not really a good reason to hire a company, but for me it was good enough. When I called, Hunter asked me for the model number so he could research common problems for my specific dryer. He did his homework. He came prepared with several parts that he may need. He was right and was able to fix my dryer quickly, because he had the right parts! What an incredible experience it was dealing with ASC appliances. Honest, fair diligent and respectful. Something I would love to see more of, I guess am becoming jaded everyone seems so out for themselves these days. The house I purchased had a built in under counter wine cooler. When it stopped cooling I couldn't just have a blank empty space. I called ASC appliances because they were local and I wanted to deal with a small business. What I discovered was a very honest dedicated sincere business person. Andrew came to my home and felt that he could repair the wine cooler. He asked me to call him in a few days to see if it was cooling properly after working on the unit, it wasn't. I inquired as to where to send the check for the service call. He replied NO CHARGE because he hadn't repaired it and he thought he could. I was shocked to say the least. Meanwhile, I had started shopping around for a new unit. They were running around $600-800. Andrew asked if he could try one other thing. He come back and check to see if I wanted to try one other possibly (recharge ) a service they didn't do. However, he knew of a business that did this type of service. After some discussion I knew upfront what the price of this would be and agreed $200/250. I figured it was worth a try.
