There are 2 cart paths at the end of the parking lot that take you 3 different directions with zero signs directing you to the driving range. I Was repeatedly scolded for diving through bunkers and desert, but guess what, you cannot tell the difference between any of them. The greens were hairy as hell and nobody warned us that they were not cut on a SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY Morning. Are you kidding me? I missed 3 fairways all day and still shot 80. It was despicable! I will never play this course again and if any of you are looking for a challenge I wouldn't recommend Butterfield because the course maintenance is so atrocious that scratch golf will only end up pissed.

The course is lush with beautiful mountains and rolling hills. 5 Tee's for all levels. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Loved the range and the chipping/putting area. My lessons were fantastic. I have been playing a few years and Matt made things simple and has a great presence and personality. I feel like I learned so much in the 2 hours we had together and the price was very reasonable. He gave me so much information I had to write notes in my phone afterwards so I wouldn't forget!! The last two times we've gone to get food afterwards, the restaurant has been closed due to an event happening. We were told that we could get hot dogs if we were hungry. We left. I understand they're under construction, but if their restaurant already cannot handle the customers from the golf course and for the events they will cater, then why are you expanding?! This used to be the golf course we would always drive to and/or take visitors to when we played. I will consider other courses from here on out. Very disappointed lately. The new golf carts also do not let you drive anywhere on the course. We don't recklessly drive on the course, but the carts actually slow the rate of play. It's awful and frustrating.

They charged $10 dollars for the bucket, even the balls were substandard, old and beat up. The condition of the range was deplorable, tall grass and weeds prevalent, not mowed grass.
