The Ascend roofing crew did an AMAZING job on my roof, which was badly overdue for replacement. The roof was a combination of torch down and shingle, with some odd angles. I was blown away by the quality of the work, and how much work they were able to accomplish in less than three days even though they had to replace extensive rot in several spots on and around the roof. The crew transformed the look of the house by replacing a torch down section with one that could support shingles. The work was meticulous, and my home and yard were left as clean as they found it. Our 12 year old house was built poorly, and sadly we needed a whole new roof, as well as a few new sheets of plywood underneath, new plywood under the eaves, etc due to leaking. We had several people out to give us bids for the project. Ascend had the best bid and also seemed to see the flaws that needed to be fixed easily without any prompting. That made me feel like they were the company. Over the course of the time we were working with them they were very helpful and easy to work with, and FRIENDLY! Just nice people. I tried to give them some business but after leaving a message thru their website and later following it up with an email directly to them with no response I will not be using Ascend for anything. When someone tries to give you a job and you don't respond it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. If you don't want the business at least have the decency to respond to someone who asked for a consult/tried to give you work. read more

I had two bids done one was for 10k. Ascend bid 4K it was done well, and quickly. Don't need more words than that.

They were professional and efficient. Came in, laid tarps around the house. Had the old roof off by noon. Then started putting the new roof on and the other crew removed the tarps. Took all the mess with them and were done by 5:00. It was amazing to watch. I would highly recommend them! read more

Two months ago Ascend Roofing replaced the roofing on my 94 year old mothers house. The job was done quickly and looked great. A couple of weeks ago my mother called saying the roof was leaking around the skylight. I called Vern. He supposed it could be the skylight itself, but would have the roof looked over. He and crew came , inspected, and found out it indeed was the skylight's seal. Even though the skylight was not part of the original project, he told my mom he would re-seal it, and told her to call him if the leak persisted. The work was performed free of charge. It's been a week or so with some persistent rain and the skylight is holding. This was service with care for the customer in mind! We used Ascend to reroof our vacation home in Mason County. They came in with the most reasonable bid and did excellent work. They arrived as promised, stayed in contact throughout the job and completed the work within two days. They provided ample photos to document their progress and to show us the sorry state of what they found up there. (No huge surprise--the drips had been steadily increasing.) They created a solid plan to shore up the sagging gable ends of the roof and were reasonable with the charges for the change order. Not pleased at all. Contacted this company, along with 3 others, for an estimate for services. Ascend was the first appointment at 8AM. They never called or showed up to give us their estimate. Whether this was because they were told we are getting several estimates or that they are just inconsiderate is anyone's guess. Poor communication on their part. Will never call them again. Ascend Roofing did two jobs for me. The first was the two story home they tore off and put down a new roof. The guys are hard working and did a very good job on the roof. Their clean up was excellent. The roof was replaced last year. Second job was a leak from a gutter on the garage side of the house. It had damaged the wall, insulation and support wood for the two story home. Ryan and LeeJay came in and tore down the damaged plywood, insulation and removed/replaced all damaged support wood. When it was all repaired, they installed a larger box and redesigned the roof area so the water does not flow near the house anymore and flows into the drain now. I recommend them for their work is very good and the people are nice too! read more

Ascend Roofing did a great job installing a new roof on our A-frame. They removed our ancient shingles, installed new sub-layers where needed, and put on a beautiful new metal roof. They cleaned up all the mess and sealed around the vents perfectly. They even installed safety hooks on each side of the peak to facilitate future maintenance. I had a soft spot in my roof. Ed and Dennis came out and looked at it. Said that they would not be able to get to it for about 3 weeks but that it looked like there would be a need to replace not only the drywall but also the insulation and plywood, possibly the trusses due to mold. They asked me to cut out a bigger hole and they would come out and look at it to get a better idea of cost. I cut out an area like I was asked to and called Dennis. He got me mixed up with another job and after about 10 minutes remembered me. I told him that I cut out the area like I was asked to and he could come out anytime. I was told that typically they don't do that and would charge but since he was getting the job anyway would just add it to the bill (I had not yet told him I was hiring him). He came out and said that the trusses would need to be replaced and it would be at least 10k but he would talk to Ed to see if they can do it cheaper. I advised him I needed an estimate as the insurance may be covering some of that. After about a week or so, no word. My husband called Ed who stated that this has been handed over to Dennis. My husband then called Dennis back and he actually said he forgot about us. He would try to put together and estimate between jobs. Keep in mind, I at this time have a tarp on my rood, it's been 3 weeks since we first called these guys and now, he forgot about us. We told him not to worry about it we would be going with someone else. Now, with a bathroom covered in moldy insulation and drywall, we have to start all over again.I have seen many stellar reviews and can only guess that we just did not have a big enough job to be worth the effort. Ed told my husband that he only accepts cash but their site says they to accept credit cards. Not sure why. read more
