The interaction came across as very passive-aggressive. I then attempted to schedule ONLY the basic cleaning (a separate estimate), because the project manager had not indicated that I was not allowed to do so, and I continued to receive automated reminders via text and email to schedule it. It was also agreed that Gutter Seattle would add a splash block for the downspout. I made it clear to them that because I am managing the property remotely, I wanted many close up photos since I cannot personally inspect the finished work, and Genika assured me that she would "instruct the crew to take an extra-thorough set of photos". However, once the work was complete, the photos and videos I was sent were all taken from about ten feet away. None of them allowed me to see the finished work in detail and none were taken from above showing the inside of the gutter. When I asked for better photos and also whether a splash block had been installed as agreed upon, I received a text from Paolo informing me "Unfortunately, we're not able to continue returning on a weekly basis solely to take more pictures". He went on to add (in his reply that I suspect entirely written using AI) : "This creates scheduling challenges for our crew and affects our ongoing projects". They also indicated they installed the splash block but provided no evidence they did so. When I subsequently asked my property manager to stop by and look at the work, photos taken by him showed that the splash block had NOT been installed as promised. I reached out to Gutter Seattle TWICE to say that the splash block that was agreed upon had not been installed, and both times my emails were completely ignored. If this is how they treat a relatively minor oversight on their part (a twenty dollar splash block that could be installed in five minutes, but which would cost me, being out of state, much more to hire a handyman to do separately), I can only imagine what will happen if I were to contact them about a real problem concerning the gutters themselves, which are supposely guaranteed by Gutter Seattle for eight years. 3/5 stars (for the gutter installation itself), 1/5 stars (for the customer service)

Part of my gutter had fallen off, and both the roof and gutters were in pretty bad shape with a lot of moss. I talked to a few other companies before, and some tried to oversell or make the situation sound worse. This team gave me the most practical suggestions and a very reasonable estimate. No pressure, no upselling, just honest advice. Juan and Mario showed up on time and worked super efficiently. In about three hours, they got everything done perfectly, roof and gutters cleaned, gutters fixed, everything spotless. I really appreciated their work ethic and the way they went above and beyond without me even asking. They cleaned the small shed roof that isn't connected to the house, adjusted other parts of the gutter that needed attention, and left the whole place so clean. Not just the debris from the roof and gutter, they even blew away the storm branches and leaves around the yard. Mark had clearly read what I wrote (yippee), had a couple quick questions, and then gave me a quote which seemed reasonable to me. Great communication and I booked it with confidence. Mark did not disappoint. He was prompt, personable and professional. Ok, that's enough alliteration but you get the point. He did a GREAT job cleaning a very nasty second story deck patio roof - better than I expected! I had moved my horse to another pasture to give Mark safe access to the paddock on the side of the barn. OF COURSE on this ONE RANDOM DAY the horse's gate post shifted, the gate opened and the horse walked out, out the paddock gate (which I had left open for Mark) and into the driveway.
