The staff was very nice, and I was seen quickly, which I appreciated. Both my flu and COVID tests came back negative, but unfortunately, I left the visit without any answers about why I was feeling unwell. While the overall experience was efficient, I wish more effort had been made to help me determine the cause of my symptoms.

I waited and waited, observing that indeed their system was back up. I approached the desk with my ID and insurance card but she flatly told me "you have to complete all the forms online and you did not do that..." No, I did not do that because I would rather fill out the forms with old fashioned pen and ink. When I stated that she went in the back to get the Nurse Practitioner who told me I was being 'rude and obnoxious'? Huh? I am 60 years old, I have numerous advanced educational degrees and was not feeling too great. No other clients were in the lobby. I said "I did not come here to fight with you, I just want to be seen..." She didn't care. I was told to behave better or I would be ejected from their facilities! Well, I filled out the form, gave my payment to the clerk and clicked the pen on the counter. Wrong thing to do! Apparently I clicked the pen rudely. Those 2 whispered and huddled together and I was told to leave! I have been previously to this same facility with no problems. Staff and management change? I went over the the Ascension Urgent Care on Memorial Blvd and had a very pleasant experience, which greatly improved my day. Oh, by the way, they thought I was very sweet!

One nurse took my blood pressure, about 5 minutes later about nurse came in to give me the test. She was very nice, asked a few questions.. swabbed the inside of my nose and checked the back of my throat. She said results should come back about 48 hours. I know it was already about 7:30pm when I finished. Their office closes at 8pm. The lady at the front desk did not give an invoice when I left. I give this location 3 stars for overall experience. It was a very clean lobby area but it did not feel welcoming.

Upon calling that location to make sure I had the results and disc for the upcoming appointment, Devan was very helpful and kind in getting that done for me. I recently relocated from Arizona and felt terrible. I went in for a sore thought but new I had an ear infection due to having many of them as a child and a possible sinus infection. Dr. Mike was exceptionally pleasant, with great repour and understanding to my issues and ready to get me to feeling better. His nurse Celina even called the next morning to reach out to make sure I was feeling better. I will definitely be back if I have any issues going forward and recommend others to seek local medical attention as you would a local shopper. After a little digging, this clinic has been in business for over 20 yrs and in doing my due diligence on googling reviews on other clinics with several locations such as Gateway Urgent Care, they had overall bad reviews. I found the previous review to be the exact opposite of my interactions with Mendy Hicks N.P she has listened to all of my complaints, made referrals where appropriate.
