The treatment plans they gave me were going to cost thousands of dollars, with insurance. I went to get a second opinion, and 3/4 of the treatments they said I needed are not necessary. This includes an unnecessary crown and bone graft. Feels extremely unethical to present expensive treatments as required when in fact they are not. I have permanently transferred my care elsewhere.

The first dentist said I would be contacted quickly for my deep cleaning.. I waited and waited no call. I started calling and was told I would get a call-NO CALL!!!! Then, I emailed -only email was the one they got from the insurance company. So, I called the insurance company--they did not put in a claim to the insurance company till 8 weeks after my first visit-TWO MONTHS. Then, I was told I was approved and no one called me, Then, I was super mad and called. Manager called me and said she told the insurance person at their office to call me-no one did. So, I get an appointment and was told 1 o'clock. I go to office and was informed I was late-appointment was 12-I said I was told 1. Woman at desk got rude; I got ruder. Then, another person came with an attitude-gave it back and yelled-2 1/2 months. Then, manager comes out with her phony calm attitude- I said I had every right to be angry- 2 1/2 months and both women prior to her were rude. So, dentist comes out and admits the office is not properly organized, they are just employees, etc. If you are an employee, that does not give you the right to do a job incompetently. and he says we serve 5000 a year-so, sorry what happened to you. Will I go again-NO-would I recommend--No. This office needs to have better follow-up procedures, to return calls as well as emails, and staff should learn not to be rude to clients and make a situation worse, In the future, when I need dental work, I will call the insurance company and ask for a list of dental offices.

He works on you then goes to another patient which would be fine if he came back in to check on you. Sometimes I have wondered if he was out to lunch. I called the practice and the office manager who took my call was very rude. The individual kept talking over me with condescending tones. Without taking any of my info, this manager told me right away the procedure was done because I had "severe bone loss on my teeth". Where did the "bone loss" come from as the person didn't even ask for my name or claim number? It was by then the person realized that she needed to take my info and look at my visit notes as opposed to making up an excuse for the code they billed. It was a frustrating experience. I have to deal with surprise billing and got yelled at by their staff. Also, the manager insisted she overheard the hygienist informing me it was not a tooth cleaning when I sat in their chair getting the procedure. I'll leave it for you to judge whether this statement is true given my visit was about a month ago with only me and the hygienist in the exam room. I would caution you to be careful when choosing your dentistry. Hope you won't learn the lesson in a hard way like I did. It's unfair to make the patient take a financial loss in the name of "for the best of your health" without informative decision consented by the patient.
