After a car accident resulting in a head injury, I self-referred to the clinic as I saw that they had a concussion specialist. I was so lucky to encounter Jesse and to have his care throughout my 6 month rehabilitation process, leading me to regain full-functioning. I hated the lazer. I hated the maze. I hated the dot on the wall. And, I hated the restrictions of basically not using my brain. BUT... I followed the rules, stayed the course, enjoyed banter with Jesse and trusted him fully. The words "thank you" will never convey my earnest appreciation for all that he and his assistant, Katie, did for me. In the past 6 months, I have run 500 miles and plan on running 500 more (sounds like there's a song lyric hiding there-- I swear I didn't mean it!) in preparation for some races I have planned in September/October. I've done my homework on running form, seen probably dozens of YouTube videos and thought I knew what I was doing as far as running was concerned. I have a tendency to start cramping on my right leg and thought to invest the money into PT to make sure I was running correctly. And boy was it worth it! Right from the get go, Jessie identified the weakness in my right foot and from the video analysis we identified the issue-- the weakness caused my right foot to compensate by over pronating while I run. Seeing my foot almost collapse from the pronation was both eye opening and humbling. Jesse set me up with a few exercises in order to correct my gait and I'm grateful to have come in-- I'd like to correct my form BEFORE I put a ton more miles on it. My calves and ankles are also grateful! If you're thinking about undertaking any athletic endeavor, getting PT is well worth it. If you have had a history of pain or injury in the past, PT will help you with form and strengthening the weak links and the energy leaks in your exercises. And ESPECIALLY if you have pain, they'll try to work with your insurance so that you won't have to pay everything out of pocket. Thanks!

There are much better professionals out there that actually care about the patient and not just making money and penny pinching hard working folks who are having a hard time just paying for groceries these days.

The staff was very nice and answered all my questions. Dr. Coleman did a full spine exam and initiated treatment on my neck. I felt very comfortable and she answered all my questions about getting adjusted etc and put me at ease. The visit was very complete and her work was amazing! I already was feeling better before I left. She reviewed things for me to do at home and provided me with instructions and information on what we discussed. I found out about Providence Medical Group through some friends and checked it out. The Patient Coordinator Sable was awesome. She was very nice and laughed at my jokes making me feel a little at ease. I was able to make a $40.00 upfront payment and be billed for the rest. So i can make payments. Otherwise, I would still be at home. Heart racing out of control. Anxiety through the roof, trying to relax! Not easy. ( Oh. By the way. I hate hospitals! I have too much trauma of my own to like being in hospitals. I have woken up in the hospital a couple times. It will freak you out for a moment! So ya. I do not like hospitals!) After a short wait and some questions. I was taken care of by a great nurse and an awesome Dr. My heart feels better but i think my dose may be weak. Something I think Dr. Phillip will have no problem with. Even now. My heart feels better than it has in months. PMG is a great place.. I feel I may actually not hate this hospital.

But now to make matters worse, Providence has removed all incoming call reception from the clinics and routed all calls to a call center somewhere. There has not been a single time since they made this change that I or anyone else in my family has been able to make it through the call queue in under 20 minutes. It's usually closer to 30. This is not an exaggeration. We went from being able to actually call our doctor's team and talking to someone in one or two minutes at the most, to now having to listen to the entire hold music menu twice over every time we call, and keep in mind that we're calling our doctor about our health, so sometimes timeliness matters. This is an unmitigated disaster and whoever made this decision should not only be fired, but should be permanently blacklisted from ever working anywhere ever again, because it shows either extreme incompetence or extreme hostility toward patients, or perhaps both. And if you thought mychart was a good alternative, think again. They also offsited message screening to some centralized location so not only does it take forever to hear back, but you're usually not even talking to your own clinic. The whole system is broken and it would be better to just let Providence go under than to let it languish in eternal decline, dragging their patients down with them.
