I was going out of town for a few weeks in July and decided it was a good excuse to splurge on a full set of lashes. I went to Katie and she did an incredible job (so good I got hooked). To start, Katie is very sweet and clearly an expert at lashes. She's gentle and careful with the sensitive area and walks you through the process (your eyes are closed so it's nice to know what's going on). She can either make them very full or more natural. Either way they always look great. I was surprised by how little makeup I can get away with when my eyelashes are done. The salon is easy to get to and parking is a breeze. Katie's studio is very clean and relaxing. Also, the bed is super comfortable... I always immediately get under the sheet and cozy up. i hate to leave a bad review because katie is such a sweetheart, but i went to her for a fill since i just moved to the area and ive been getting my lashes done for over three years now and ive seen 5 different lash stylists over this time. when i arrived to katie's space, it's very nice and clean and she's very professional. after the appointment (1.5 hours) I was surprised that my lashes didn't look fuller since she spent so much time, but I was fine with it because overall they looked good and it was our first appointment together. then, less than 4 days later, pretty much all of the lashes she had applied fell off (without my natural lash). so I let her know and she was nice enough to get me in within a couple days to fix them, basically do another fill. she said she was going to use a different glue and this time they were way fuller when she finished and after the 4th day I was happy to see that they were holding up a bit better. however, right after the 4th day they started to come off again and I started getting huge gaps. I'm less than two weeks out from that fill and they look bad. also, my lashes never last me less than 3 weeks and that's with complete fullness. I could probably go 5 weeks and get by without a fill, but Katie's lashes just don't stay on. it may be because she uses water to cure her glue, because in all the years I've gotten my lashes done they say do not expose the glue to water for 12-24 hours because the adhesive can't be in moisture while curing, so that's a bit odd. read more

Her studio is located near the 5 freeway in Glendale, and parking is always available. I've been getting my lashes done for about 5 years. Had a bad experience in 2015 at the place I previously went to, and had to find a new girl asap. Katie was accommodating and super helpful! She had my lashes looking perfect in no time. I wanted a natural, but full look, and she did not disappoint me one bit. I love her eye for perfection, and they last longer than any place I've been to yet! Her pricing is fair, and she also offers some skincare products I've found to be incredible for my sensitive face! I went in for my first full set of lashes and I was a little worried about them not looking natural. I told Katie I wanted to add a little length, but mostly wanted a darker, thicker look. She nailed it... exactly what I wanted. When she was done, I couldn't stop looking at my lashes...my eyes looked amazing! The process was easy and relaxing. She played soothing music, the bed was comfy and I actually fell asleep at some point. I've had lash extensions done before at a different location but they started falling off right away. They only lasted about a week and they didn't look as full as I would of liked them to. When I first got them done with Katie I right away saw the difference. They were much fuller and looked great! She took her time applying each lash. They have lasted me up to 3-4 weeks. Katie is not only so sweet and easy to talk to, but she does amazing work. I first saw her work on another person and was like WHOA! I need to get lashes like that. I was scared to get lash extensions because I have sensitive skin and I did not want to ruin my existing lashes. Katie explained that this would not ruin my current lashes and she also uses a waterbased glue that did not cause any issues for me. I am SO HAPPY I did it! It was very easy to book with her and I love the booking reminders/system she uses. I was able to reach her afterwards with questions because I've always got a ton of them. And honestly the time flew by because she was such a pleasure to be with. I can get real antsy and it was so relaxing and easy. The whole process was wonderful and I love the salon it's in.
