Different artists have different ideas of what shape they make your brows. One made mine too thin; a little wax happy. But I've found the right person after the original person moved. Jessa is amazing! I have been at home tinting my newly grown in brows for a few weeks/months, but it was starting to get to the point where I needed some brow direction. My eyebrows now look like sisters instead of long distance cousins. Went to Lisa for my Brows and left super HAPPY! I had my brows micro -blading a few years back and needed them extended a bit and freshened up with new color. She recommended Micro-Blading and shading since my color was not good and I really don't have much hair especially at my ends. You can tell Lisa loves what she does and takes her work seriously. I've been a regular client at BrowZing for nearly a year, booking monthly appointments since June 2024. I've consistently seen the owner, Lisa, for my appointments. However, despite my loyalty, she never remembers who I am. Each time, she asks me the same questions--especially about whether I want a tint, which I always decline. It's a small thing, but over time, it's become frustrating. She also repeatedly mispronounces my name, even though I've corrected her multiple times. Eventually, I stopped correcting her because it felt like a lost cause. Most recently, I had an appointment scheduled with Lisa on March 4th at 3:30 p.m., but I mistakenly thought it was at 4:30. When I realized my error, I called the salon at 3:53 to apologize and see if she could still fit me in. A standard brow wax with Lisa takes about 10 minutes, so I thought she might accommodate me, given my long-standing relationship as a client. However, she told me she couldn't see me and that her next availability wouldn't be until April. To make matters worse, she also charged me a 100% service fee, which was shocking. As a loyal, recurring customer, I felt this was unfair. Frustrated, I ended the call and instead booked an appointment for the following day with her associate, Kaitlyn, at 11 a.m. Unfortunately, a last-minute work emergency made it impossible for me to arrive on time. When I called Kaitlyn to explain, she was understanding and accommodating, letting me know that since it was a quick service, she'd be happy to see me when I could get there. I arrived at 11:50, and her flexibility was greatly appreciated. However, when I entered the salon, Lisa did not acknowledge me at all. Whether she genuinely didn't recognize me or was intentionally ignoring me, the situation was uncomfortable. As I sat waiting for Kaitlyn, Lisa never greeted me, never thanked me for coming in, and never acknowledged my continued business. It left me wondering--does she truly not know who I am, or is she just being dismissive? Either way, neither scenario reflects well on her professionalism. Thankfully, Kaitlyn was kind and provided great service, but the experience with Lisa left a bad taste in my mouth. I've even referred other clients to BrowZing, who also see Lisa regularly, but after this, I no longer feel confident recommending her services. Moving forward, I will only be booking with Kaitlyn, as she has proven to be both talented and professional. Lisa is a brow master! She listened to what I wanted and carefully assessed my brows first. I showed her a picture of the shape I was looking for even though it was clear she got what I was looking for right away. She took her time and cleaned up my furry brows (it had been a couple MONTHS of hiding my brows behind my bangs)! She gave my some tips on how to brush (up!) and fill my brows on a daily and I'm glad I went even thought I was hesitant at waxing since I've only ever had my brows threaded. It's a lot more expensive than my $7 threading spot (I paid $36: $30 plus tip) but since I'm taking new headshots, I thought it was a good time to get snatched up brows!
