5 stars, duh. I don't even know where to start with this review. Heidi is THE BEST. I can't remember how I found her but I'm glad I did! I first booked a "foreign fill" and came in with bad lashes done by someone else. Heidi fixed me up and I haven't gone anywhere else since (except for ONE time when she was out of town, and it was someone she recommended). I'm not a model or an influencer, just someone who is willing to pay to be low-maintenance! Taking away mascara from my daily routine (applying and removing) saves me TIME, and that is honestly priceless. I wake up in the morning and I'm basically ready to go! Also, her lashes last FOREVER. It's amazing. They only fall out when my natural lashes shed, and my natural lashes look and feel healthy, even after consistent lash extensions for years now. I'm telling you, I am rough on these things. I rollerblade at the beach, and these lash extensions flap around in the wind and do not budge! She's also amazing at placement. My eyes are deep set and the cat-eye (longer at the outer corner) style looks droopy on me. She knew right away that kitten-eye was a better choice for making my eyes look open and awake. Heidi has also become a friend. We talk and laugh and it feels like hanging out. I'm sure she would also let me nap if I wanted to. The bottom line is: she makes me look good and feel good, and if that interests you, go see her for some bomb lashes! Most unprofessional experience ever. I booked a foreign fill to get my lashes here for the first time and she cancelled on me ONE HOUR before my appointment. She said she ran out of the length I wanted and when I explained that I could do a different length, she basically avoided my calls then said she couldn't take me as a client. She didn't even ask me if I WANTED to cancel, she just cancelled it. She didn't apologize a single time. No one has taught this girl manners. I'd feel disrespected if this happened to me in my personal life, but for a business to do it I'm actually shocked. Apparently she thinks her time is worth more than anyone else's? If you actually NEED your lash appointment to be on time, don't bother! Need your lashes for an important occasion? You can't count on this place. This person does lashes out of her apartment and basically cancels her appointments when ever she feels like it. Don't book here unless you want your time wasted. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. Heidi's work is incredible. My eyes are a little tricky and I'm very picky on how I need my lashes done. I let her know my concerns and also left it to her to be able to assess the shape of my eyes/face and place the lashes accordingly in the most flattering way. I've been to some lash techs who take 3-4 hours for the fluffy/wispy look, Heidi takes her time but she does it in a reasonable time frame, cause lord knows I DONT have 3-4 hours out of the day to lay there MOST IMPORTANTLY - the retention on her lashes are KILLER!!! Heidi is a lash goddess and keeps me looking right ! She's the only lash artist I've had that gives my lashes a lash bath and it smells so good! She gives me a killer cat eye lash look and does volume like nobody's business . In the past I've had some lash techs half *** the job and my lashes have fallen out in days, or left me with styes. I had the worst experience with this person ! I normally NEVER COMPLAIN about how people do things and I would never wanna go to yelp but I did not have a choice ! When applying the lashes my eye lash started to burn and felt itchy I did inform her and she started to rub off because we both thought it was the primer. I let her go on then after finished I loved her work it was amazing but then the next day I woke up with a pink eye and my eyelid feeling heavy. I said maybe something fell in it. But then little by little I realize it was the eyelashes later. Then I asked her about it said it was probably the irritation of the tape. I agreed bought clear eyes then started to put it in my eyes for two days every 4 hours and it helped but remained red for the next two days then I send her a message letting her know my eye lashes were falling off really bad ! And she send me a message stating she contacted many people that she helped that week and looked like the glue had expired early! And me being a mom of two and having two jobs I don't really have enough time to do anything. I asked if she can take me in for today (7.6.19) she said she can at 10 then changed to 1030 I had to get off work and drive to echo park to try to get them fixed but of course la traffic does not help and the fact that her business is around apartments because she does lashes from home I could not find parking. I arrive 15 minutes late no more then that then she stated she has an 11 o' clock and we only had 15 minutes to lash but what I don't understand it why not try to fix the problem instead she went on and on about other clients she was going to be late to because I wasn't there on time. But I understand that this was last minute I spend about 125 and tipped 10.00 thinking everything would be okay. I am not gonna say I am perfect I got very upset and walked out the door and she did not try to do anything better and did call her out of her name as I felt robbed and she couldn't even help at all! I would put negative stars if yelp had the chance ohhhh and on top of that she blocked me on Instagram !! So there for technically I WAS 100% robbed she made the excuse saying she does not do refund because when I left I was happy with the work and stated that it was my fault because I was moving when applying the lashes instead of trying to make anything right. Now I have to find someone who is going to fix her mistake and pay the same amount somewhere else since she did not give me a solution to this situation. I still don't understand how someone can be a licensed esthetician and does not realize the product she was applying was spoiled early and that lead to health issues that could have gone worse . I also wanted to add that we had one appointment before and she changed appointment time because she was running late so what I also do no understand is how she could not help me one day when I was a few minutes late and also on the day of our ACTUAL appointment she was 45 minutes late and almost cause me to miss another appointment somewhere else with my children so we had to move it to another day here is all the proof you need.
