Once I told him that we were in no rush, and would be happy to wait, he proceeded to text back and forth with me helping me get an idea as to what the job might cost. He made recommendations about plants, etc....and all this without officially having secured my business. Towards the end of July, I reached back out to see what his timeline looked like. Again, he responded almost immediately. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, and said he would come out to measure the area, and discuss the job in more detail. In my mind, he had absolutely nothing to apologizing for. He set a date to come out, came out exactly at the time he promised, and helped us figure out what would look good. He provided a written, detailed estimate, which he adhered to...we paid exactly what he quoted. On the day of the job, he showed up as promised and on time. Pros - The quote Fernando gave me was fair, and he and his team did a decent job…read more Cons - If he agrees to do the job, be prepared to be ghosted or have your time wasted. He came a day later than he told me he would, without telling me ahead of time. Replaced my mulched area with gravel without telling me. He also left a giant pile of gravel on my lawn for a full day, killing a big patch of grass. I needed paver bricks laid, and he rebuilt pillars on the patio without telling me. While rebuilding the pillars, he cut the wire that was connected to light fixtures that are on top of the pillars. Fernando would not admit that he cut the wire, but I confirmed with an electrician that there is no power running to the end of those wires, so they were cut along the way. After weeks of calling Fernando and asking him to come out to take a look at the light fixtures, he either never responded or ghosted me. Stay safe and spend a little more money to have work done by people that won't damage your property and won't waste your time.

After only 5 years a wall was buckling and that area of the floor was sinking. They quickly diagnosed that this was due to insufficient drainage. The recommendation was to rebuild the wall, add drainage and level the flooring. Other contractors wanted to basically rebuild the entire patio which would have been overkill. They right sized my project and priced their work fairly. My kitchen overlooks the area they were working. So throughout the day I could see their diligence and attention to detail. It was quite a task, especially the removal of the original adhesive but the were total pros. I heard about Manuel Landscaping through my neighbor, so I called Manuel directly to inquire about…read morehis services regarding recurring lawn maintenance and a few outdoor projects around our home. Manuel was quick to respond and came over the same day I called him to walk around my home and discuss the things my wife and I were looking for. He was very polite and had a wealth of knowledge for how to best maintain our lawn, garden, pavers, etc. We had three primary projects; first being removal of all the weeds and bushes around the sides of our home as it had grown out of control, along with creating symmetrical edging and applying mulch for weed control. The second was to re-tube the sump pump since the existing tubes were now coming out of the ground and for some reason there was also some tubing going underneath our patio pavers which was causing them to all be raised up. The last was to re-level our patio pavers and ensure that they sloped away from our home since the water was starting to pool toward our house. Manuel provided explanations for how to implement change for each project and gave me estimates on the spot. I was ready with estimates from other companies and was able to confirm that not only were his estimates lower, but had great recommendations from my neighbors of their services so I decided to move forward with him. Manuel's crew was incredible, each person that came over to tackle our projects was diligent, precise, and fast. I always tried to speak with each person as I enjoy learning some of these skills and they were always very kind and friendly to me as I observed and asked questions. Our curb appeal has been extremely elevated due to their cleanup around the front and sides of our home, the sump pump tubing has been installed correctly that won't come out of the ground after the winter freeze/thaw, and the pavers were my absolute favorite as it looks brand new after they re-leveled, repaired, and sealed everything. I'm aware that Manuel has many customers that he services, however, the reviews online are scarce and likely due to many people that just forget to post personal experiences.
