He came a day later than he told me he would, without telling me ahead of time. Replaced my mulched area with gravel without telling me. He also left a giant pile of gravel on my lawn for a full day, killing a big patch of grass. I needed paver bricks laid, and he rebuilt pillars on the patio without telling me. While rebuilding the pillars, he cut the wire that was connected to light fixtures that are on top of the pillars. Fernando would not admit that he cut the wire, but I confirmed with an electrician that there is no power running to the end of those wires, so they were cut along the way. After weeks of calling Fernando and asking him to come out to take a look at the light fixtures, he either never responded or ghosted me. Stay safe and spend a little more money to have work done by people that won't damage your property and won't waste your time.

I heard about Manuel Landscaping through my neighbor, so I called Manuel directly to inquire about…read morehis services regarding recurring lawn maintenance and a few outdoor projects around our home. Manuel was quick to respond and came over the same day I called him to walk around my home and discuss the things my wife and I were looking for. He was very polite and had a wealth of knowledge for how to best maintain our lawn, garden, pavers, etc. We had three primary projects; first being removal of all the weeds and bushes around the sides of our home as it had grown out of control, along with creating symmetrical edging and applying mulch for weed control. The second was to re-tube the sump pump since the existing tubes were now coming out of the ground and for some reason there was also some tubing going underneath our patio pavers which was causing them to all be raised up. The last was to re-level our patio pavers and ensure that they sloped away from our home since the water was starting to pool toward our house. Manuel provided explanations for how to implement change for each project and gave me estimates on the spot. I was ready with estimates from other companies and was able to confirm that not only were his estimates lower, but had great recommendations from my neighbors of their services so I decided to move forward with him. Manuel's crew was incredible, each person that came over to tackle our projects was diligent, precise, and fast. I always tried to speak with each person as I enjoy learning some of these skills and they were always very kind and friendly to me as I observed and asked questions. Our curb appeal has been extremely elevated due to their cleanup around the front and sides of our home, the sump pump tubing has been installed correctly that won't come out of the ground after the winter freeze/thaw, and the pavers were my absolute favorite as it looks brand new after they re-leveled, repaired, and sealed everything. I'm aware that Manuel has many customers that he services, however, the reviews online are scarce and likely due to many people that just forget to post personal experiences. I'd be doing a disservice to them if I didn't acknowledge the great work him and his team did for us at an extremely reasonable cost, and I'm hoping my personal experience with them can bring him even more business and loyal customers in years to come. I finally had a chance to confront two of the landscapers today and they didn't understand what I was asking. I said "Can you guys seriously blow the leaves away from my yard?! This is getting kind of ridiculous!" They responded with "Next week!" I think they thought I wanted to hire them to clean up my yard. Mind you I have Stage 4 Cancer and can barely keep up with my own yard but still very much do. Now I get to go out there and clean up after your company. Just do the right thing and clean up after yourselves.
