I'm not much of a yelper, just for the anomalies in service, wether good or bad. I've never been…read moretreated worse than during my time renting from Hart. I was drawn in by a sign in front of a beautiful home, but was almost persuaded not to rent solely based off of the unkindness of the receptionist at the office, Jamie. I truly hope she's in a happier place in her life now, because I've never been made to feel worse about myself. Unprofessionalism doesn't even begin to cover it. As aside note, I'm a good tenant. I pay rent on time, am responsive to communication, and follow rules. Even if I weren't, no one should treat a tenant as if they don't matter. Many things went wrong in my time renting from Hart, like when they refused to repair an 8 inch whole I'm the wall I found upon move in. I kid you not, cockroaches were crawling through it. They told me I couldn't prove that it wasn't my fault so they refused to fix it. I was appalled by the state of the house when I moved in. They clearly hadn't cleaned it, and when I asked if they could clean it and sent pictures, they told me that my standards were too high. I'll see if I can attach pictures. Bottom line is, they are disrespectful and will hopefully have a change of heart some day soon and run their business better.

Ron Hart is the scummiest person I've dealt with when it comes to property management. I was the third person in his business that day and the first to check out a key to view a property. He told me to come back an hour and a half later. I did. In that time he checked the key out to 3 separate people to view the same piece of property. After I viewed the property I asked for a rental application. I asked if tenants would be determined on a first come first serve basis and he said no, it was about who's the most qualified. I told him I'd be back in thirty minutes with all the necessary paperwork. On my way back to the office I called to see if he would prefer cash or check/money order for the application fee. He told me he already had people turn in applications which he also stated when he gave me my application. I said yessir my name is John I was just in your office. He said I know. So I clarified by asking him if what he meant was for me not to turn in my application at all. He said that was correct. I'm not sure why Ron turned me away. I'm a veteran, I'm clean cut, I dress decently, I'm respectful. Needless to say he wasted a ton of my time and was very disrespectful in the process. I will never do business with Hart Properties and I will consciously make an effort to tell others not to as well.
