So, I was planning a party for my mom & aunt. Twins. 50 years old. I am in the event industry…read more(I'm a wedding/event and portrait photographer). I have seen a little bit of everything, good and bad when it came to weddings and parties and choosing the right themes, having the right vendors and more importantly having someone near (either a planner or a day of coordinator) to help it run smoothly. So the two amazing planners that I know of were busy that day, so what was I to do? I posted an ad on craigslist of course! To my surprise I get an email from Lauren & Angela. They were just about to start Luxxe Events and Design and were looking for just a few more events to put under their belts! I am SOOOOOO glad I found them. Even though I had an idea of what I wanted to do (from decorations to food, entertainment etc) I still wanted and needed someone to run it by. These two met with me a month or so prior to the Fabulous & 50 Fiesta to help out with the little details. They collected my vendor list and contacted my vendors prior to the party, they thought of things I never would have thought of to make my party an even bigger hit (salsa lessons at the party!)
